Here is a picture with a couple of longer and wider styles.
At about the tip of the nose length minimum. Sometimes longer and thicker.
That’s still pretty cool.
Star Trek uses this style a lot. It is implied to be a futuresque fashion.

That "extra-long" variation in the picture is still rather mid-length, in my opinion. It would be better described as medium-long in the picture, with long as just medium. I guess I have the "extra-long" sideburns, LOL.
Maybe I’ll grow them earlobe length, soon.

One of my female friends told me to get rid of mine, they’re like the longest one in OP. Apparently they’re considered a faux pas. I told her to go heck herself.

I guess she doesn’t like ones that go below the middle of the ear, or something. Does she prefer them even higher?
