Bet that the LNDL, Dior Homme and 1 Millions got properly used while the expensive ones are just for show.

Do you like 4711? Turkish Kolonya? Ferrari Bright Neroli? Tom Ford Neroli Portofino?
If you know any of those and like the smell, it’s worth it. It’s just a straight forward neroli frag with a citrus opening (classic "cleaning chemicals" smell at the start, copied from 4711 since basically forever). White floral drydown, rather unisex, very fresh.

Considering purchasing Neroli. Is it worth it?

Ferrari Bright Neroli is literally a Ferrari compared to Neroli Intense which would be a falling apart shitbox. Stop comparing them.
            Only good as gym fragrance.

The same could be said about Neroli Portofino. They threw in some additional stuff, it opens very different compared to Neroli Intense (which has classic cleaning chemicals as the opening). Doesn’t matter, drydown is still the same. Just because your Ferrari is yellow and not red doesn’t mean it’s not a Ferrari.

(You) farming but it didn’t really work. The big LMLP and the LBLP are from a clearance sale, roughly 25 bucks under market value, and I’m souking them away. 9 PM is actually a good clone, which rarely is the case, which is why I got it.

Looks based but probably doesn’t last.

Is that THE DILDO OF THE FRAGRANCE WORLD??? In any case, satisfying amounts of Dior.

This is the only fragrance I’ve ever purchased. What aee ya’lls opinions on it? Other things to try if I like it?

I’ve smelt it at the Dyptique store in Chicago. Nice green creamy fig. If you want another fig scent that is a little more masculine and woody but still unisex, Kismet Olfactive’s Studio scent is baller. Getting a full bottle soon if i dont get an Oud scent

Don’t. Those ones are not fit for purpose, if they are not pure essential oils or fragrance-grade synthetics you will probably get rashes. Finding the right natural materials is hit and miss, you need to find which ones are good quality, i.e. don’t have bad after-smells. It’s a good idea to make the aromatic base 80:20 naturals:synthetics (musks, aromachemicals like geraniol, coumarin, beta-ionkne, ethyl vanillin, etc.) for better longevity. Find some good essential oils get some spray bottles (glass, not plastic) and dilute the pure individual oils with ethanol to 10% using a precision, hebreweler’s scale, and spray them on your skin. If they smell good as the odor develops, you can use them in a fragrance. After that it’s a tedious process of experimenting with different ratios. Study which notes are base, middle and top (based on relative longevity) and experiment. Use ethanol as a diluent, you want to aim for about 15% total concentration of the final product.
        > What’s you recipe
        It’s mine, you can’t have it >:(.

Here’s the collection fueled by impulse buying and collecting over the years. Trimming down and selling alot of it off, but this is what it was at its peak.

My goal is to reduce my collection to half it’s size

Jesus Christ anon, I have so many questions. Why so many? Do you have a favorite? Do you feel there’s an area where you feel like your collection is weak?

      • Anonymous says:

        >oud noir
very peppery, spicy. bold and sharp. warm, woody.
lasts all day on my skin. will stick to unwashed clothes for a few days.
some people compare it to oud wood. i dont think they’re all that similar in smell.

        >ombre leather body spray
dense, dry smokey leather, and patchouli.
harsher than the edp. lacks that warm and smooth sweetness.

      • Anonymous says:

Versace oud is real smooth. Bordering on sickly sweet, it they did a good job restraining it. Like the other guy said, it will last on clothes all day. Doesn’t project well though. My bottle is 3 or 4 years old

to anyone who bought fahrenheit recently ?
Does yours too have shit performance ? I don’t smell it after 1h-2h and don’t tell me about Iso E super or nose blindness, I asked my partner and friend and they don’t scent anything unless they’re really close…
heck that i bought because I liked the smell and heard it’s pretty performant since my Givenchy Gentleman Reserve privée is also so weak

My cheapie hoard. Stored inside a designated frag chest. Started about three years ago and massively expanded last year.

I plan to add Jacomo De Jacomo and and about four-five warm weather frags. Ending it when my chest is full.

      cheap but consistent

Me too. Been my go to since college, but lately I’ve been feeling like it’s spring/summer smell. Do you have a recommendation for me for the rest of the cold season?

      • Anonymous says:

Dali is a strange frag. Starts skanky but dries down into something smooth, classy and office comfortable. Moderate longevity, not too bad.

I like all of my Bogarts. But if I had to pick my favorites or the best of the bunch, I’d go Signature, OMS, OMS Gold and Club 75.

27 y/o. From favorite to least favorite. Eau Extreme, although being the most expensive out of all, was a big disappointment personally, too flowery, very little sillage, when it does die down the tonka smells nice but it doesn’t last nearly as long as my other fragrances. Drakkar Noir is decent, but it really kind of just reminds me of shower gel on steroids. Dry down is a nice musk though. Dylan Blue I consider my “signature scent” I use regularly. First fragrance I bought and I like it because its musky but not aggressive, and is pleasantly sweet. Gotten many compliments on it. Fahrenheit blew my mind, and is hands down my favorite scent out of the four. Its musky and animalistic, but also refined. Massive longevity and sillage. Only reason I don’t wear it daily is because it’s so aggressive. I read a review of it, “sex in a bottle”, that perfectly describes it. Its intimidating and I’m afraid, very afraid.

MaybeI’m not applying enough. I usually do 3 sprays, but I’ve heard its normal to do minimum 5? Idk I’m just afraid of becoming the guy that reeks because he couldn’t smell his own cologne.

I just got a sample of tuxedo and I’m thinking of buying a bottle, should I try any others in the YSL private line or whatever it’s called, or are there any as good as tuxedo? Also wondering if I should order samples of Xerjoff uden and naxos because I have versace dreamer which some say is the quite similar to naxos and I have chanel edition blanche which some say is almost the same as uden.

    • Anonymous says:

Versace Dreamer has nothing to do with Naxos. Naxos is a sickly sweet honey tobacco juice. Uden isn’t worth it, Edition Blanche mogs it, although Uden’s performance is slightly better. Chanel usually mogs all the stuff people make that is close to stuff Chanel makes.
