It just sounds like you’re poor if I’m being honest here OP. In terms of thrifting unless you’re not living in Sydney or Melbourne then you can get a lot from many OP shops anywhere. Just take a ride out of your area.

There’s a reason we’re a nation of poorly dressed slobs. You just have to take chances with recommended stores online. It’s a shame because I like to try on clothes before I buy and returning online stuff is slightly annoying.
go to op shops in poor/rural neighbourhoods. Myers has good medium priced aussie designer clothes. Op shopping requires weekly visits to find good shit I’ve found.
Myer has stopped stocking a lot of major brands in favour of their own in-store brands (Maddox, Kenji, etc) with dismal quality, better off going to David Jones if you want to browse.
