OMG zoomies. Just buy some bleach to do at home. You mix it, rub in your hair, wait an hour or so. It’s really that simple. Foil retains heat which makes the bleach work faster. Bleach on your scalp won’t do anything to you, it would burn it if it was a really strong bleach, but then that kinda bleach would fry your hair anyway.

    >buy bleach powder
    >buy activator
    >6 Percent 20 Vol which will not burn your skin whatsoever, or frazzle your hair

You just leave it on longer.

Yes, you can get yellow/orange tones depending on your natural hair color, so you get a toning shampoo to stop that.

Learn the above and for £20 you can get all those items, and there will be enough for over 10 bleaching sessions.

Or ya know, spent £1000 going to a salon for the same amount.

OP if you’re new to this don’t do what they’re saying. You’re gonna have a bad time.

Just hecking pay for it if you want it done right. Between the cosmetology students I’ve worked with and personal experience with people who are new to bleaching hair even with a guide, just don’t, you’re gonna heck it up the first time.

High school kids with no internet did fine bleach jobs in the 90s at home, now kids have the internet, in which you can learn exactly how to do a good bleach job and it’s just too tough for them, easier to just do a dance on tik tok.

Salons let the dumbest thots bleach your hair as it is a zero skill task.

Okay, I think I’ll still do it at this salon for the first (and maybe last time). I know £85 is a rip, anyone could tell you that, but I want it done at least semiprofessionally for the first time so if I do want to do it again myself I have a frame of reference

        Just bee urself

They are all bald now, including your gollum ass. Shut the heck up and have a nice day

      >Make sure not to go cheap on it though because a bad bleaching will leave you looking like a pineapple.

And you use a purple shampoo if that occurs.

A salon is hecking robbery. It costs them next to nothing. They will heck around taking ages when you can just put plastic gloves on and just rub the bleach all over your hair within minutes.

We bleached our hair in the 90s at home and it was all fine, zoomers are so useless and stupid, can’t even learn and understand basic shit.

      This.
I’ve bleached my hair three times AT HOME, from black to inside-of-bananapeel-blonde, and I did just fine the whole time, just don’t bleach more than three times in one week and you’ll be fine.
start with 30vol and the next times apply 20vol

Samefag. Cecil is right though. Plenty of little punk kids dyed their hair in the 90s and have a fine full head of hair today. You’re also double stupid if you think bleach can seep into your scalp and kill the follicle root.

Why do people do this? Comment on what they do not even understand? I’m a hair stylist, and over bleaching will dry the hair, and it can fall out, but it can’t actually make you bald or destroy the root. It will just re-grow. Higher bleaching strength means a shorter duration it is applied to the hair. Salons like to do this to get you in and out fast. Lower strength takes longer, but is much kinder to your hair ans safer for your skin. I would recommend this for home bleachers. Cecil is 100% correct.

Can’t tell you if that’s a good price because when I got my hair bleached my mom’s friend did it so I got it cheaper than usual. Make sure not to go cheap on it though because a bad bleaching will leave you looking like a pineapple.

Okay anons, I’m getting the "FULL HEAD FOILS" from the salon. Anything I should know? Should I shower that day or after? Can I wear headphones after? Should I bring a book? It says 3 hour session
