I’m in my 30s and it really doesn’t change as much as you’d think, though is more or less correct that you shouldn’t chase trends clearly made for teenagers.
The biggest difference I’ve discovered is that you need to have way more dress clothing on hand. Parties require suits way more frequently, and you find yourself dressing up way more. I’m not saying that you’re going to most parties in a 3-piece suit, but you basically have to be able to presentable at places like galas.
That said, a lot of 30-somethings basically still live in athleisure post-2020, so who knows.
I’m 35 and I’ve not worn anything other than joggers and baggy t-shirt for about 3 years now.
But I also haven’t really left the house for about 3 years now.
No, my parents weren’t stupid and actually saved up the money for me to go whilst I was growing up instead of being shocked college actually costs money and telling me I’m on my own

Damn but you can’t afford outdoor recreation? Did they not hook you up with a job?

What? I said I couldn’t dress like a poverty hick because I went to college. It’s just beneath me

Oh you threw me off with "unfortunately." I figured you had a bunch of debt and worked at target or starbucks and had an english degree or something. The dude in that pic has a masters and has multiple television shows, a podcast company, a clothing line, and like 6 books.

Then I just assume you haven’t read much on the subject. It’s truly the most atavistic thing you can pursue besides hecking. Truly a relief from the born in captivity concrete bughive existence we live in now. I feel bad for people who can’t experience it, especially a lot of Europeans like the Germans or British. Still though, they can travel to Finland or Spain for it but the barrier of entry for a basic human right shouldn’t be that high.

Hunting has always been the privilege of the wealthy, why we allow the peasant class in this country to participate is beyond me. Still, why would you wear camouflage outside of the military? Very cringe

One of you is saying how they went to college and is therefore too good to present as a hick. The other is doing the cringe American thing of putting down any education that isn’t learning a trade. The first needs to pull his head out of his ass and the second needs to stop being a teenage boomer.

The education system in america is hecked up anon. They made it so at 18 you could get guaranteed federal loans but people can’t even file bankruptcy while handing out worthless degrees. So they created a problem then promised to solve it by bailing everyone out but only gave $10,000 per student.

That’s hecked up. You should want an educated and debt free young population ready to apply themselves in the world. They’ll get hecked enough as adults without doing it to them early.

Yeah basically our college is a scam. We have the worst of socialism and the worst of capitalism at the same time without actually having either. They have our 18 year olds tour colleges and spend a lot of money on making them seem fabulous and fun for partying then guarantee those 18 year olds to accrue a house worth of debt at a 10% interest rate subsidized by the government. The resulting system is colleges more focused on making the campuses seem fun and a good party than on education itself who are willing to offer worthless degrees. Worse than that is the sate of our research in those institutions, most of which cannot and will not ever be replicated. The other scam is our high to top tier schools who do this as well as sell exclusivity when in reality students can still just go to a junior college and transfer to them provided they have a 4.0 because the transfer qualifications are much much lower. Even then, nobody really cares where you went to get a bs in graduate school because depending on the field you choose the university specifically for the research you desire to do. Then we have the progressive tax system which punishes the upper middle classes success by fining them proportionally to how productive they are. This is an obvious violation of the 5th amendment to not be forced to incriminate yourself but they do not care. Honestly and truly the best case senerio for a kid in the states is get a GED at 14 because you can and it is easy and skip all the time wasting by getting a tech bs from a degree mill like WGU then by 18 just apply to an actually good graduate program in a field you want to work in.

The same way I do now with a few nicer pieces. Nothing is more sad than seeing someone in their 30’s chase trends and try to dress like a 20 year old.

You have to focus on diet and exercise more than ever if you want to keep looking good.
