I use them for work at my job, they are work boots. they have worn well for 8 years and counting. my only complaint is that I have callouses on my big toes. I could get an insert but I just sand them down.

Bros I’m Latino and thinking of skinheadmaxxing with some docs. I don’t really care about the racial connotations. Will I be /fashion/?

I’ve always thought they looked cool and I ain’t gonna let you /fashion/ggots tell me otherwise. I’ve seen the meet-up pictures, most of you guys look like dorks.

I make sure to take the extra time to explain to everyone that my 1460-style boots are, in fact, Solovairs, and I paraphrase the description from the British Boot Company website. I go on to explain that I bought them FROM The British Boot Company, in London, before Solovairs caught a wave of popularity (even being featured in a documentary).

This puts me in the sweet spot of cool, knowledgeable, AND fashion-conscious. Plus they go really well with my Primark chinos + ASOS multipack Oxford shirts. Not giving a heck further proves how laid-back (and marketing-immune) I am.

    >caring about what other people are wearing.
    Also
Wearing cherry red docs. Super comfortable.
Stop falling for btg propaganda, boot snobs are one of the most autistic subgroups in this board. Only maintained by a small group of elitist tards that don’t actual wear their boots or go outside, whose sole bits of information are fellow tards, marketing, and hipster youtubers(also marketers).
If they had a made a news article it would read as: "Your Boots are Uncomfortable, and That’s a Good Thing".
It’s hard to take slouching, autistic, shoe draggers seriously.

Whenever I do the opposite of what /fashion/ says I wind up getting lots of attention and compliments, so ima just keep wearing docs

It’s an inferior product, but the cult they have amassed through superior marketing is why you wear them, like Apple products. Normies recognize them because they are normie shoes.

I do, but i only own 4 pairs of vintage made in england ones, 2 shoes brown and black, and 2 boots brown and black.

I think people forget how relatively cheap you can get Docs, on sale for like $150 or barely used for half that. Obviously they aren’t going to compete with /btg/ quality at that price. Docs now are affordable fashion accessory boots. For that market and price, they’re okay.

Doc’s sizing inconsistent and shit. I got a pair of 1460s and a pair of 1461s in the same size but fit completely different and they don’t have half sizes to compensate for the size difference
