What does /fashion/ think of current year Acne Studios? Is $630 really worth it for a pair of jeans made of plastic and made in China?

>paying 600 dollars for pants off a crackhead or a mexican outside home depot
what the heck is wrong with people
bought a pair recently and hecking love them, 2021m. great silhouette, wish they had more colors. id only say buy if you are making good money and $630 wont break the bank.
get your money up and your style up my boy
>style up like some mf nodding his head out on kensington avenue
how about no

They are stupid NPCs. You could buy a proper selvedge jeans for that price or just 3-4 regular high quality 100% cotton jeans, and fade them on your own to give them your personal, unique touch. But most people are too much of lazy heck posers to put in actual work with anything they do.
selvedge jeans are ugly
Then just buy regular jeans. You can get 98-100% cotton jeans for like $60. You can buy like 10 of them (and give them to your entire family and friends) for the price of that one overpriced shitty jeans that look like they were pulled off of some passed out crackhead hobo.
those also look ugly
your ugly
>Yeah the problem with that is they make you look like a redditor
yeah maybe if you’re a little office drone b***h boy and look like one. i wear jap jeans my boy wears n&f and nudies. don’t think you would mistake us for redditors when we show up to put a new roof on your house or dig out your septic tank.
i hate how raw denim looks when its new. its about the end result.
that looks pretty bad
show me 1 wash on acne’s website that looks half as good.
what do your ugly jeans have to do with acne studios’ ugly jeans
because half the stuff on acne’s website is imitating the same thing: wide leg, heavily worn in vintage wash. i’m showing that the real deal always looks better. those jeans were worn over 5000 times building houses, they’re older than acne’s target audience.
they seem completely different. also your pants are ugly and you should be embarrassed
you shoudl throw these away and try agin
buy pre-washed japanese selvedge. orslow and fullcount do very nice looking washes meant to look naturally worn in. if you don’t like this random wash i posted theres hundreds more.
wide leg of this type of thing exists btw, its just harder to come by you gotta use rakuten.
Yeah the problem with that is they make you look like a redditor and nobody but selvedge autists cares that much about muh personal fades
>stupid doesn’t understand supply and demand
Expensive things can exist without you being the target audience
>BUT ITS NOT KOKOFUKKU JAPANESE SELVEDGE RAW NARUTO DENIM IT CANT BE FRIGGIN THAT EXPENSIVE
That’s not how pricing works. You literally have people trading worthless strings of data for 70k nowadays and still don’t understand supply and demand
>KOKOFUKKU JAPANESE SELVEDGE RAW NARUTO DENIM
i laughed out loud
>It’s worth it because it’s expensive
hecking stupid.
it’d be fine if it was just cotton but the fact that they’re selling 40% synthetic jeans that feel like rubber in hand and will deplete your sperm count for a premium price under the guise of them being cotton denim is extremely suspect
Wow, you know what supply and demand is, we’ve got someone that really gets the world here.
okay but that has nothing to do with what he’s talking about he’s asking on a purely value basis if it’s worth it. not sure why you had to throw out your unrelated favorite reddit TIL fact though
This whole infusion is a complete hecking scam. Jeans were never and will never be a luxury clothing item. They are and always will be durable workwear attire.
they got bought out and changed manufacturers a few years ago, any acne past like 2019 is cheap and designed like shit with a way higher price. selling it to the Chinese hecked the brand and they lost almost all identity
Lyocell isn’t plastic you dumbass. Your fabric literacy is appalling -cease posting here.
it might as well be
