That's the best advice for sure
Best type of lemon tea wine?
Also what's your take on twisted tea?
Twisted tea isn't strong enough, in both tea and booze
21 gallons started today, transferred 12 gallons into secondary. Strawberry kiwi cider, Peach cider, and plain rider. Doped with enough sugar to put them around 9%.cranberry lemon and straight lemon in secondary. Could have bottled but I thought they needed that 3rd qt of lemon juice. Hopefully I don't regret it. As soon as the lemon juice addition falls clear they're done.
looks nice, I want some proper fermenters and kveik yeast but I'm a broke mofo
The five big clear ones were definitely a splurge, two of them even have a little tap on them so it's super convenient. The other three are untapped because they ran out of stock but it was like 20% off the whole order.
The buckets I used before getting them were under $5 each. Plastic cling wrap overlapped across the top are close enough to functioning as a one way valve. Might be worth considering.
Honestly I'm not sure the clear ones are really worth the money now. I saw someone 90 minutes away from me selling 5 gallon totes and 20 or 30 gallon hdpe drums that previously contained corn starch for $20-$30. Amazon has weldless bulkheads so you can drill a hole, screw pieces together with an o-ring, then stick a ball valve on it. Kind of wish I'd done that instead. 30 gallons must be over 200lbs so might would be too much to handle. I'm neet so it's not like the time savings of really big ones are critical.

Oh, and got four gallons of cherry lemon that should be clear but since it's in a bucket I'm probably just going to scoop it out with a measuring cup in my drinking jar each night. Probably around 13%. Moving it out of the closet to make room for the three in pic kicked some shit up, but I'm still going to try a glass tonight. Last night finished of the buckets of mango cider and cranberry/grape/pear/apple blend. Buckets usually get the scooper treatment.
Sweet, ty.
I understand strong is subjective. I usually do four small or two big bags to a gallon for sweet tea. So six or three to make strong? I got an old pickle jar somewhere that would be perfect for this.
Tastes like lemon snapple, hits like strong sake

That could be an option, convert some food grade buckets into fermenters

Forgor Walmart pic
You're wasting your talents, go to LULZ
How to make, please? This sounds very good.
>around 2/3rds gallon strong black tea
>2.25 lbs table sugar
>zest of 2 lemons
>1 tsp yeast nutrient
>1 pack Red Star Premier Cuvee
Mix ingredients in gallon jug, add airlock with brewing sanitizer, wait 2-4 weeks

I did 8 teabags, and I'm not sure that was enough. If you want to still taste the tea past all the alcohol and sugar, it has to be super strong
>I did 8 teabags
I too played Halo
Why do you mix the tea in with everything else, instead of adding it after?
Because this is meant to be a tea wine, lol
Juice and sugar are relatively cheap, honey is expensive though
>Lemon tea wine sneaks up on a motherfucker
Some motherfuckers deserve to be snuck up on
Looks like it's about 15% abv, a pint of that on an empty stomach would have anyone feeling good.
That s9udns pretty good, op
Im just dr8nking beer because 8 couldnt get f8ner materials for my inhibitions.

This song seems relevant
