    >getting a widows peak
OP the true suicide fuel is when your temples and front start thinning enjoy things whilst you can

    • Anonymous says:

I personally have had a very pronounced widow’s peak all my life, and have gotten a lot of admiring looks because of it. Only now, it’s thinning out, and I might lose it entirely! My forehead is going to be gigantic!

I genuinely wish there was less shit-flinging about fin, the only board that seems to discuss it at all is /fit/ and there you’ll be called a shill no matter if you’re pro or anti fin, so is impossible to actually get any info

    • Anonymous says:

      >so is impossible to actually get any info
if only there was some kind of highly educated professional you could go to for advice and information

      • Anonymous says:

You need to pay $$$ and spend time to go see said professional with no guarantee that he or she knows anything about hair loss, no guarantee that he or she won’t try to upsell you with high-cost-low-effectiveness snakeoil, and no guarantee that he or she will spend more than 5 minutes on you before kicking you out.

        • Anonymous says:

Don’t go to a GP you stupid, go to a dermatologist. If you are THAT concerned about getting a bad doctor, look for one with a modern website where they plaster all over that they will give you finasteride, most of them do.

Or you can also go to a hair transplant surgeon. They are also well aware about hairloss, fin, min and research.

Let me guess you think vaccines do anything. I have it on good information that the vax does nothing. Also it is so powerful that I will get morgellons from being in the same room as someone who received it. #prisonforfauci

Now if you’ll excuse me I have to put some shit on my face I bought off an alex jones affiliate link, #stopthesteal

I hate it too. I read a theory somewhere that the only shitty post about fin get posted so people have this image of a drug that makes your dick fall off while successful users just stop posting. I know if I had all my hair back I would never ever post in these threads again.

I read about fin nightmares and all those people seem like they had those problems before starting fin and they are just using it as an excuse for all their problems.

      • Anonymous says:

There have been many studies surrounding the side effects of fin. The one I read had several hundred subjects take oral finasteride, topical finasteride, or a placebo. The oral finasteride had something like 3% of people reporting side effects like lower libido or inability to get their dick up. Here’s the funny part though: around 2.9% of the people who took the placebo reported those side effects, and the people who took topical finasteride had an even lower percentage than the placebo. It’s literally all in your head. Not only that, but like 99% of the people who actually DO get side effects from fin stop experiencing them when they stop taking fin. Most anti-fin shilling is just fearmongering. Go topical and you won’t have any problems.

        • Anonymous says:

I would hop on fin literally this second if it was readily available like it is in the US.

The problem is here you can only get proscar with prescription, which I asked for and the doctor practically laughed at me and said why do you want an old men’s medicine? Also even if I could get fin I wouldn’t be able to microdose it which I want because you can’t do that with proscar.

        • Anonymous says:

I wonder what the age group is of people who report lower libido and weak elections as a side. Have a feeling they are mostly middle aged men or the type of guys who had no libido in the first place.

  3. Anonymous says:

I’m always hearing fearmongering about the fin shed. How bad is it really? Is it just more hair in your shower drain or do you visibly thin? I don’t want to pay money and screw with my hormones just to heck my shit up.

I’m 28 with a buzzed head. I’ve had high widow peaks for a while but at 25 I noticed thinning at the back of my head and decidet to pull the plug. Now I think about getting SMP done. Anyone here that has that? I have enough money to get a proper transplant but after doing intense research I decidet against transplants. It might seem like an easy solution at first but all things considered they usually hecking suck. So maybe it’ll be SMP for me.

    • Anonymous says:

I’m at III vertex and it hecking sucks. My das is almost 6 and has a full head of hair, same for my brother who is in his early 30s

      • Anonymous says:

Exact same situation, dad has perfect hecking hairline despite all his white hairs and younger brother in his 20’s is looking the same. Meanwhile I’m stuck between III and IV like my uncles, genetics hecking suck, I want a refund on life.
I don’t even know why I come in these threads since I know fin is the only realistic solution but I’m too much of a pussy to take it.

      • Anonymous says:

        >vertex
some people have a vortex on their backhead that can be mistaken for thinning hair, but it never gets worse. Me and my brothers had this since birth.
Have a picture of yourself 10 years ago? chances are you simply never paid attention

    • Anonymous says:

i’m 29 and the only change in my hairline has been moving forward in the middle to give me a slight widow’s peak

        • Anonymous says:

Damn must be bad. I have a friend in my age that is in stage IV as well but he doesn’t want to "poison himself" with Fin so he wears a bandana all the time instead.

          • Anonymous says:

Yeah, the guys got a vortex at least on the back of his head. Otoh, I look younger than him even though I am a bit older and a guy asked yesterday if I am still in high school. lol

I’m 22 and personally on the fence about fin zo I get it, being this young I’m concerned that it will end up ultimately hecking with my development (facial/ body hair, bone structure, testosterone etc)

          • Anonymous says:

I’ve had at least three coworkers in the 20-22 yr old age range the past year that have had the vortex on the back of their heads. It has to be something in the water.

      • Anonymous says:

This isn’t really true though. Some people only ever go to certain stages and it can slow way down to the point it pretty much stops, but 22 is young for nw2 and there’s no guarantee it won’t progress. It would look natural and good on someone who is 35. hecking blows finasteride and or HT depending on how far gone you are is really the only option… either way you’re gonna be taking fin so catching it early is better

I’m starting to think that whole "mature hairline" then a magic stop in progression thing is a cope meme but maybe for some ppl it happens like they’re only sensitive to androgens in that certain area?

        • Anonymous says:

          >only sensitive to angrogens in that certain area?
I’m kind of thinking there is some kind of phenomenon like that.
I for example am 25 and Norwood 1 on one side and Norwood 2 on the other with clear temple corner thinning.
Growing up, I always had thinner blonde hair on those temples and I would play with those areas a lot because the hairs were so thin and soft compared the thick coarse brown hair everywhere else. After I became an adult I didnt really think about it much but at some point there was just no hair where those blonde hairs were, revealing a kind of tapered hairline where the temples go back some.
I’m just hoping that one temple stops. its bothered me since I was 21 and has only gotten a bit worse.

Almost every man over 22 is going to have a NW2. It really shouldn’t be cause for concern.

      There’s a 19 yr old at work with IV…

This is the hairline I had when I was 14,I still have that photo
What NW stage was it and what could I have done to prevent balding?

      • Anonymous says:

NW1.5 you have AGRESSIVE BALDING IF YOU ARE BALDING BEFORE 30 SUPER AGGRESSIVE BALDING RIGHT HERE. you need to get on high dose dutasteride ru58841 and maybe some tranny drugs

        • Anonymous says:

Why do I have this? Nobody in my family got bald, except me.
What changes in my diet do I need to do to mitigate this and not be immediatly blacklisted by women?

          • Anonymous says:

            There’s a myriad of things.
First off, check the hairs that fall out. How many of them are thick, and how many are thin weak ones? If they’re all thick, it’s very likely you have loss from lack of proper nutrition. Thin wispy hairs are a sign that the place where those hairs fell is starting to die, meaning no hairs will grow on it which is genetic.
Anyway, the most common causes are vitamin D deficiency, but also iron and vit B may be a cause. You can do a blood test to see if you have a deficiency. I started taking 2000 UI of vit D every day and it helped.

          • Anonymous says:

            >I started taking 2000 UI of vit D
I go outside daily for more than 3 hours in the sun
I also take vit D supplements

          • Anonymous says:

            >How many of them are thick, and how many are thin weak ones?
Hair is not thick material like wood
How could one know which is thick and which is thin?

    • Anonymous says:

Bros I’m turning 32 and my hairline has been like this since I was 25. What norwood am I? Is it just a mature hairline?

    Any UK anons here?
Gonna see a GP about my hair thinning to try and get a fin prescription, are they gonna make it hard for me or will they give me the prescription if I explain how my hair has thinned over the last 6 months?

  7. Anonymous says:

If you can’t handle aging gracefully and accepting that you’re going to look like pic related, you’re not gonna make it

    • Anonymous says:

I don’t have anywhere near this guys bone structure though so it would not look good on me at all

You are better off with a transplant if things get worse. Fin and Minox are temporary solutions at best.

Pretty sure you have to take or apply something after the HT to keep your hair

  8. Anonymous says:

just shave it off and get fit, if you cant pull it off it means that you are a weakling and you are doomed even with hairs past your 30s when females wake up and start to look for a real man and not a pencil neck, jawless kpop gay.

I’m at VI, currently hatfishing and keratine powermaxxing. Will buy one of those wig that stick to the head. Next year, hopefully next year more hair will fall so that I can turkish hairline theory

    • Anonymous says:

This is how I know you’re not balding. Hair transplants are also temporary solutions, your hair will fall off again unless you take fin.

question for any anons that are on fin, I get that if you’re trying to conceive then you’re supposed to cycle off fin until pregnancy is confirmed, but is it safe to coom in my gf at all if I’m on fin? Last thing I want is to heck her up because of my own insecurity

    • Anonymous says:

finasteride and dutasteride aren’t harmful to women, it’s just that, specifically dutasteride, can cause pseudo-hermaphroditism in male fetuses if a pregnant female takes the drug, or a child takes the drug. There’s no evidence that semen contains the drug or could have any effect on a pregnant female, it’s more of a fertility thing to discontinue use while trying to conceive because these drugs may cause (temporary)reduced sperm count, but just because there’s currently no evidence doesn’t mean there’s no connection, so most men will also discontinue use over fear of birth defects as well.
If you’re only taking fin, it’s probably not even worth worrying about.

    • Anonymous says:

Not at all IMO, you have the perfect head for it. My skull is way too narrow and small to pull this off with confidence without looking like an alien

      • Anonymous says:

        Thanks anon :3

If I couldnt pull it off as well, id probably hop on min and fin. Hell if it was guaranteed to bring back my hair id maybe even do it. My hair just went to shit literally from 17-19. By 20 I was passed the point of no return. Didnt even know there were effective ways to stop hair loss til I was like 23 by which point i was already shaving and had made peace. 28 no and with each passing year its more normal and I give less shits thankfully. Its never really stopped me from having a fulfing love life either so.

  11. Anonymous says:

My hair started to fall when I was around 18. Around 20yo I looked like VII. My dad wanted me to comb the few remaining hair over my pathetic bald patch but I decided to shave instead and I have absolutely no regret.
My advice is to own it. You aren’t going to look better if you mask it somehow and you are going to feel insecure about it. Shave. Lift.

  12. Anonymous says:

The front of my hair is getting very thin.
Fin isn’t going to solve that right? At this point only HT can help. Or am I wrong? I use minoxidil and it helped somewhat with my vertex, and filled my temples slightly, but the front remains the same as when I started. It’s ridiculous how it works everywhere else except the front.

    • Anonymous says:

what are you defining as the "front" if it’s not the temples?
i’ve been on fin for a year and a half and i got far better results on my hairline than i have on my crown.

  13. Anonymous says:

I’m waiting for hair transplant doc to respond on Line.
Gonna consult and hopefully get it done ASAP to fill in temples and lower hairline a bit.
    I’m taking the leap.

  14. Anonymous says:

Has anyone here started and tapered off fin/min?
I’m wondering how long I’ll have if I decide to quit at some point

    • Anonymous says:

      >I’m wondering how long I’ll have if I decide to quit at some point
Dr. Russel Knudsen claims that when you discontinue use of finasteride, you will have an accelerated rate of hair loss until you reach the "natural" point your hair line would be at had you not taken any finasteride, so if true, and you’ve been on finasteride for a long period, you’d probably lose substantial amount of hair in 1 to 2 years.

        • Anonymous says:

It’s not totally baseless though. Why does male pattern hair loss occur in the pattern that it does? And why does BHP only really occur in older men? Why would these conditions get exponentially WORSE with age, while androgens levels are plummeting? Very likely due to increasing androgen sensitivity in regards to hair and prostate with age, and it makes perfect sense that you would experience accelerated onset of symptoms if you reintroduce DHT at a later period when your body is more sensitive to it.
I’m not saying it’s true, and Knudsen is kind of a quack, but the theory has some merit, and I’m not about to be the one who tests it.
