lads i desperately desire your help. i got super cheap bespoke suits abroad but now that im back in the US I have no idea where to go to get a decent, reasonably inexpensive suit as a muscular man. superficial research notes sites like indochina and black lapel but their quality seems questionable

yea this is your best bet. If you want to look good, then buy a nice suit and have the waist taken in
in an ideal world though, you would have went to a made-to-measure store 2 months ago and gotten a custom jacket & trousers

How much are you willing to invest? Buying some made to measure suit from thailand of whatever is not impossible, but somewhat risky. Getting a good fit with that kind of body is a pain in the ass because it would look best with a somewhat looser fit, but if you heck up your training regime for some reason and lose some weight said suit will look too big and clumsy.

He’s going to use them for his job, he cant rent a bloody suit.

You might want to try made to measure (for example Lanieri or OliverWicks).
If this doesn’t work, you will likely have to go full bespoke

If he’s 210, he’s not on roids . It means he stuffs his face with carbs and pretends his fatscles are muscles.

You need to learn what the sizes actually corrospond to in terms of waist measurements, shoulder span, cuffs, etc.

If you’re very muscular, it’s likely you’re going to have a very large chest and skinny waist. So while a skinny jacket will fit around your waist, it’s not going to fit your chest. You need to buy a fat mans jacket to fit around your waist.

Similar story with the trousers, if you’ve got big quads, you need really wide trousers, which will mean buying a wider waist.

This is talking ready-to-wear of course. I assume you don’t want to spend a ton of money on something you’ll only wear once

I frequently have to buy a 36 waist for my ass and legs and brought the waist in to 32 at a tailor and I buy a 44 chest and take it in at the waist with jackets. Alternatively you could just do less hypertrophy work and do more strength and endurance and not have the volume. It is quite annoying but the majority of mens pants are cut for hank hill ass so you have to do this if you don’t have joe biden legs.

buying a big jacket and taking it in at the waist is a good idea.

I’m fat as shit so I do basically the opposite with trousers, I buy a big waist and take them in at the legs
