why did russia just stop attacking from belarus? what is the point? that’s a whole long ass front to advance from, what was the point of not utilizing it?

It's much harder to take the north of Ukraine which is a lot better protected. Russia doesn't have the offensive capacity for it. In fact they lost offensive capacity right now and it will take a few months to get it back.

Houndrets of missile strikes daily. They lost attack capability. Fucking retards.

That border is the largest swamp in Europe, it has a number of names but Pripyat marsh is one of the more common. There’s only a few usable roads and going cross country is pretty much impossible for most of the year. That’s why we saw those Barbarossa tier columns even though the invasion was an order of magnitude smaller than Barbarossa. Once spring came supply was so constrained along the few usable roads that pulling out was necessary. And ever since Russia has benefited more from the fact that Ukraine is compelled to keep forces along that border in case Russia does try again than it would from actually doing so.

When I'd wake up everyday hoping I would see the "Kiev has fallen" news. And I'm not even pro-Russian, I just want to see something cool.
We wait so much for a real HAPPENING, and when it comes it's so anticlimactic. Are we not deserving of a good HAPPENING?

Anyone have that wojak of a Polish guy shouting " Slava Ukrani" while another Wojak points out how Ukraine killed like 500,000 Polish civilians during WW2.

There were hundreds of thousands of Ukro soldiers still alive then. Today is much better with so many hohols butchered and rotting, while Russian casualties have been minimal.

Thing is, Russia could have kept this land if they only had enough troops in the beginnging. Putin thinking he can do this with 200k troops is RETARDED and I like him but will NEVER forgive him for this retard tier mistake

the push towards Kiev was always doomed to failure due to totally fucked supply lines, the rest maybe. Also don't blame everything on Putin, he is a symptom not the problem although I agree he is retarded.

Yes the US is the problem. Also capturing a city of 2mil with 40k soldiers? They never wanted to hold it.

Did you memory hole the trucks full of HOMO (riot cops) sent in with the army? And all the airdrops on Hostomel? Neither of those make sense unless they were preparing for an actual takeover

Cause if he started the conscription it would reveal his hand and the West would have begun arming Ukraine making the war harder, possibly even rushing the NATO process.. Putin overestimated Russia’s armed forces and made a gamble and it failed bigly.

That was a similar number of troops as when the Soviet Union invaded Czechoslovakia, which was a very similar war with similar goals, except it worked. The number of troops wasn’t the problem, the fundamental premise (that the Ukrainian military would roll over like it did in 2014) was wrong.

We went from zergrushing kiev with guards tank divisions through chernobyl, to the sinking of moskva, to a year long ww1 reenactment in the span of months. If russia manages to pull an actual victory out of this mess, I'll never say anything bad about putin again

IIRC Readovka hasn't updated in a while, they were always cope maps to begin with (see the threat area coming from fucking Transnistria lmao). Just use the regular LiveUA map, the front moves so slowly these days the difference between that and whatever cope RU map is minimal.

    >Attack Ukraine
    >Use a miniscule taskforce against an immense opponent (Ukraine had the second largest army in Europe, right after Russia)
    >Not a single Kinzhal dropped
    >Not a single FAB dropped
    >Not a T90 moved in
    >Conscripts everywhere ordered to stay still
    >Eventually tell the third grade army you sent in to go back home
    >Send in Wagner Mercs to maintain the line while NATO sends in reinforcements
It's kinda like Russia does not want to take Ukraine by force but just wants a place to meet NATO in a military conflict.

      >not a T90 moved in
Except that's wrong, many T-90A's were used in the initial zerg rush, and several of the much rarer T-90M's were used (and lost) later
See the distinctive IR dazzlers and angular turret on this one from literally less than a week into the war
