Why the fuck do so many anons try to write like they're Greek philosophers?

Why the fuck do so many anons try to write like they're Greek philosophers? Seriously, too many posts are just one overly long spiel trying to sound wise.

bro, if you dont like the way people speak, then just leave
imagine being so pathetic that you complain about the way people speak, and not the content of their worlds
if you think someone said something wrong or stupid, then correct them, you fucking retard
who even cares if they are doing that. even if we grant you your premises that they are doing it to sound, wise, so what?
this board is fillied with nothing but hopeless losers abandoned by god who have literally nothing. half the people here have suicide attempts, being involuntarily commited in psych wards, etc
even if what they post is just to sound smart, whats your problem with that?
imagine being so pathetic that you cant even hang in intellectual discourse with people who you think are just trying to sound smart, that you have to make a thread complaining about it
if you felt like you won or dominated whatever discourse you were in, would you feel inclined to make fun of the way someone spoke?

    did i over react? maybe
    leave LULZ, honestly

the ai thing you're referring to is garbage all it does is check words for obscurity and measure the "complexity" of a sentence based on the frequency of punctuation but it makes no check for whether or not those things are used correctly
that said there will be an extent to which people who even try and use more punctuation and high order words, even if they do so wrongly, are more intelligent than people who make no attempt to do so
however the fact you're doing this means you give it far too much credit - you should appraise the ideas regardless of who articulates them and how they are articulated

Well, you see, dear friend, the issue at hand is not so simple, straightforward or easily digestible as your rather curt, emotionally-charged and somewhat abrasive query seems to suggest. Allow me to expound, elucidate and explicate at length, with great verbosity and unnecessary repetition, on the matter of certain anonymous individuals and their purported predilection for adopting the stylistic hallmarks of the esteemed philosophers of Ancient Greece. Now, one might argue, or indeed, one might be inclined to argue, as it were, that the adoption of such a grandiose, verbose, and ostensibly erudite mode of expression is merely an affectation, a pretense, a facade or mask donned by these anonymous interlocutors in a vain attempt to convey an aura of wisdom, sagacity, and deep, penetrating insight that they may, in actuality, lack. But, I must implore you, consider the alternative. Consider, if you will, the possibility that these loquacious, long-winded, and seemingly self-important individuals are not, in fact, attempting to project an image of profundity or intellectual prowess, but are instead merely indulging in a form of linguistic play, a creative, imaginative, and perhaps even whimsical exercise in which they seek to emulate, imitate, and pay homage to the rhetorical flourishes and stylistic embellishments of the great thinkers who have preceded them on this mortal coil. 1/?

Consider, further, that this proclivity for verbosity, this penchant for prolixity, this tendency toward tautology and circumlocutory expression, may not be indicative of some deep-seated insecurity, some gnawing sense of inadequacy, or some desperate need for validation and affirmation, but may instead be the product of a sincere and genuine appreciation for the beauty, the elegance, and the sheer aesthetic pleasure that can be derived from the skillful manipulation and artful arrangement of the written word. It is, I contend, entirely plausible, nay, likely, that these anonymous individuals, these enigmatic and inscrutable scribes of the digital age, take great delight, satisfaction, and even pride in their ability to weave intricate, elaborate, and labyrinthine tapestries of text, to construct towering edifices and elaborate arabesques of language, and to dance nimbly, gracefully, and adroitly upon the delicate tightrope that separates clarity from obfuscation, sense from nonsense, and profundity from pomposity. And, lest we forget, language is not merely a means of communication, a vehicle for the conveyance of thoughts and ideas, but is also a form of art, a medium of creative expression, and a source of infinite variety, complexity, and nuance.
So, my dear interlocutor, I entreat you, I beseech you, I implore you to reconsider your rather hasty and uncharitable characterization of these anonymous wordsmiths as mere pretenders to the throne of wisdom, as mere poseurs who seek to cloak their ignorance and insecurity in the borrowed robes of the great philosophers of yore. Perhaps, instead, you might view them as dedicated and passionate practitioners of a particular form of literary art, as enthusiastic and devoted acolytes who have chosen to pay tribute to their intellectual forebears by adopting and perpetuating their distinctive and inimitable style. 2/?

But, of course, I understand that my humble and unassuming attempt to offer an alternative perspective on this matter may not be sufficient to sway your opinion, to change your mind, or to persuade you to adopt a more charitable and magnanimous stance toward these anonymous interlocutors. And, indeed, I am well aware that my own prolixity, my own verbosity, and my own tendency toward tautology and repetition may serve only to further irritate, annoy, and exasperate you, and to strengthen your conviction that such linguistic excesses are, in fact, unworthy, tiresome, and deserving of your scorn and derision. But, so be it. For, as the great philosopher Socrates once said: "The unexamined life is not worth living." And, perhaps, the same can be said of the unexamined word. 3/3

I have strong moral convictions. Some of my posts are long. I'm just trying to share the truth. I write normally, it's not trying to sound like Greek or wise or anything. A lot of zoomers just aren't used to the written language. I notice most of them don't know how to punctuate or capitalize letters correctly. They struggle with composition of anything longer than a couple sentences. It's probably some generational thing that makes you perceive normally written text as Greek or wise. If you lurk for a while you might eventually get the hang of it.

I dont try to be overly eloquent, but I do think if you are trying to get a point across, you should be able to articulate it well, although saying it in simple terms is way more effective.

Upon realizing his verbose flex had faltered he contrives the perfect ruse. "He'll never realize I'm the one responding if I open with "Not him..."". Satisfied in having flounced his adversary in the fine art of verbal warfare with a florid rebuttal he reaches for the nearly depleted bag of Doritos. He thinks to himself "doesn't he understand I merely write in the colloquial venarnacular"?

nonsense if that were true then books wouldn't exist and no matter how many arguments you pre-empt there is always another one, no matter how fallacious
often i even see people raise arguments directly addressed by the post because they aren't even capable of working with what little can be posted here

Because they confuse excessive verbiage with intelligence without realising sometimes the simple answer is exactly the correct answer. Plus terminally online retards are usually narcissists, and generating convoluted language allows them to feel they're more intelligent than they actually are.
