Same reason men stopped wearing hats and ties. They came to be seen as affectations of stodgy old aristocrats, and were killed off by the fervor for the middle class lifestyle that characterized the post-WWII era.

men in professional settings wear ties. men who aren’t neckbeards, larpers, or workers who spend a lot of time in the sun don’t wear hats. It just isn’t the fashion anymore, don’t delude yourself.

I don’t know Anon, I’m something of a classic man. I almost always wear ties with My suits, which I wear casually even outside formal or professional settings.

          men wear ties
          >men who aren’t neckbeards, larpers, or workers who spend a lot of time in the sun don’t wear hats. It just isn’t the fashion anymore, don’t delude yourself.
          men wear hats

I still like to wear ties regularly, even use them as an accessory in some non-formal outfits. I can’t wear hats because they heck up My afro, though.

      And as

      >Same reason men stopped wearing hats and ties.
men still wear hats and ties.

points out plenty of men still wear hats and ties, but there seems to be far more of them then there are women who wear gloves.

It’s 2022. Leather fetish gear is normal daily wear now, and covering up too much skin gets you labelled some fetish weirdo.

I don’t know. It kind of stopped in the 1960’s. Tbh, I think those kind of leather gloves in the picture should only be for the bedroom. *Maybe* for a party, too.

I would like to wear gloves often during the daytime whatever the weather. I like this sort of thing these women are wearing. These are early 1960’s outfits. Looks like late 1950’s though. 1950’s fits are superior to any era of clothing ever imo.

      >only be for the bedroom
What makes you say that? They were worn during the day regularly up until the 60’s and I see no reason for that to have stopped. Women always looked good wearing gloves, so why change that?

      >1950’s fits are superior to any era of clothing ever imo
      Unfathomably based.

Sorry. I meant those kinds with the ruched detail. Although, there are lots of pictures of leather gloves (with details) for sale from past decades online. Most are white or tan that I’ve seen and don’t have the ruched detail. When I think of black gloves from decades past for some reason, I think of them as just plain gloves with no detail. Now I feel silly because someone would have thought of that already back then. Gloves like that definitely existed (like the ones Bettie Page wore). I don’t think the long leather gloves were worn much out. Mainly fetish thing probably. Sorry if this sounds convoluted and like I lack reading comprehension.

What makes those ones specifically seem fetishy to you?

I just think they’re a great accessory for women in just about all circumstances. Fingerless gloves and the people who wear them as if they’re real gloves need to have their rights revoked.

Glad to see another man of culture in here.

Tell Me, have you ever met a glove-loving woman yourself? I want to be sure that there’s still hope.

Not on their own. one that was okay with the idea, and one that thought it was weird that I wanted her to jerk me off while wearing gloves.

is this a man’s hand or a woman’s? can’t tell if I should fap to it or not

and if its the latter please provide her social media information

are there even any contemporary examples of gloves as somewhat everyday that dont look like youre wearing fetish wear in public?

        • Anonymous says:

Why not? It’s perfectly socially acceptable to wear gloves, isn’t it? Hell, it used to be normal and the standard up until the 60’s.

          • Anonymous says:

I only see it as that when its gloves for the purpose of warmth (such as in your pic) when its cold but not just for a fashion purpose
            >it used to be normal
            yeah, used to be, exactly

          • Anonymous says:

            >used to be, exactly
But there wasn’t any good reason for it to stop, was there? Gloves are the best accessory a woman can wear, why the hell would they all suddenly want to stop?

          • Anonymous says:

I didnt mean to argue against gloves, I actually think its kinda cool, but what I meant to say is just that I think its hard to pull off without looking like youre larping, you know?

          • Anonymous says:

I disagree, I think the look can be quite easy to pull off for anyone willing to simply try, and it boggles My mind that more women don’t seem to be willing to try.
