      It’s like a small social club or a cult. Bandfags ask 40 different obscure questions to any passerby wearing the cult symbol to ensure they’re in the in-group. The pure autism is astounding.

      fashion is about fantasy, fiction, projecting the character you want to be perceived as.

      people wearing band shirts of bands they don’t know want to convey a sense of edginess, rock’n’roll or copy the vintage look of the shirts their dads used to wear (make of that whatever you want).

      or they simply dig the graphics. either way, there is no point in wondering too hard about it or even getting angry. the only people who have a serious problem with people wearing tees of bands they don’t listen to are metal heads, making them once more the most annoying and pretentious subculture of them all.
