Even though we’re reaching peak sagturation (pun intended), it’s still infinitely preferable to the basic b***h pre-ripped topman skinny jeans that has been dominating for god knows how long now.

Depends on your body. I think by default, "regular fit" on a medium-sized human has never looked bad. So if you’re average, go regular fit. I lift so relaxed fit (think levi 550) looks regular on me. If you’re skinny, you can wear straight or slim pants that won’t suffocate your legs.
Loose fit has been cool for a few years but has definitely already peaked so I can’t say you should invest in 2023 if you wanna futureproof. And for me I had to leave skinny fit back in college. Today I look like a grown man wearing his sister’s pants.
