What type of pants should I wear with black (possibly suede) loafers?
I’m trying to leave jeans and sneakers behind bros and need to branch out. What do these go with? Black slacks? What material? Is there anything besides slack these go with?
Get some fat ass beef rolls with a moc sole from rancourt first. If you even have to ask this question you’re not ready for suede horsebit

t shirt would be totally out of place, if youre wearing slacks and loafers with metal accoutrement you should be ready to wear a collared shirt too
if you wore tan penny loafers and chinos a t shirt might work better

Black suede is very elegant and requires you to be very style conscious and self assured to make look good in casual fits.
Go for brown leather and something a bit more bulky, like the aforementioned beef rolls, first. You can wear them with a hell of a lot more stuff in a hell of a lot more situations.
Loafers are a casual shoe. You can wear them with chinos, jeans, khakis, even shorts. Just don’t try dressing them up too much.
I have those exact shoes and I wear them with grey sweats. Get fruit of the loom though, Hanes just fall apart after 3years.
If you haven’t bought them already: don’t. If you’re going to take the horsebit pill start with a brown leather pair.
WHY
black is a dressier color, people will think you’re overdressing with them despite being a casual shoe
