The stupid "make busy jobs," cater to these people to with videos like "my average day working for twitter."

This is why I imagine they seethe so much when Elon wanted them to complete actual work or explain what they "do" at the company other than using the service itself.

      They aren't.
You don't acquire IQ points be going to a university or graduating, intelligence is a natural trait.
People you meet at the university are no different than people you meet in high school.

    >tfw had bad grades always
    >fail to meet HS requirements, but pass the practical exam with flying colors
    >teacher thinks I'm retarded and sends me to get an IQ test in order to get in
    >shrink gives me a stack of papers and a 2hr timer
    >finish it in 20-odd minutes
    >turns out my IQ is above 140
    >still have shit grades
    >get into college
    >drop out
    >get a forklift cert
    >become an alcoholic
IQ means nothing if you don't apply yourself. That said, room temp naggers aren't able to due to biological hurdles.

I totally agree, judging people by the metric itself is flawed and intelligence can be obvious if someone is interested in something.

If someone isn't they could have all the innate ability in the world but without application nobody would know.

I think you are lying. You are probably misread it, it actually said 104. Which makes you a smart forklift driver, congratulations.

part of intelligence is realizing that in clown world you're better off working in a warehouse than an office. While I have an EE degree I work in a warehouse with like 95% men and it beats my old job where they were hiring women who were substandard

They incorrectly rate people based on their first impressions. So if they thought you might actually be smart they rated you lower because they have been conditioned into believing their instincts are based on a prejudicial bias.

Honestly, it's like they even selected for this and brought in people of high end backgrounds but then picked ONE PERSON WITH NO BACKGROUND aside from the military.

People can only accurately rank other people's intelligence up to their own. That means dumb people have a hard time distinguishing between dumb and smart people. /misc/ is a great example of this: a board full of low IQ people, and they worship other low IQ people that the consider smart, while calling actually smart people dumb, because they say something that goes against their worldview.

I agree, but also on a more macro-level than just LULZ or the internet in general.

People can't accurately rank other people's intelligence (generally)... that's why we have tests.
The irony is that you are projecting, you come here, you dissagree with a worldview you don't understand.
People that come here are biased towards disagreeableness, which generally is found in increased amounts among intelligent individuals.
You can go to any other forum, and be punished for thinking for yourself... aka not agreeing with the masses.

It is not hard to tell who is a complete retard and who is reasonably smart. It's strange you would say this about /misc/ because this is about the worst hivemind board on LULZ, where you're not allowed to think for yourself. Try saying things like, the Moon landing was real, the Earth is round, covid vaccines are not killing people, and watch the masses get buttmad at you because you dared go against the narrative. You can't deny that the masses of /misc/ posters have a very low collective intelligence.

Switzerlanon - I get your point, but also it is politically "incorrect." It would be pretty boring if people were just here to say the mainstream narrative, not that I think the earth is flat. - It's still no better than laughing at it being a sphere... Which, as you're aware was a problem for a long time.

          >It is not hard to tell who is a complete retard and who is reasonably smart.
You just said: "People can only accurately rank other people's intelligence up to their own."

Which is not the same thing as what you say now. And it might be strange to you, but... you don't belong here, because what you don't understand is that pol want's to be proven wrong, it's hard to explain to someone like you... you seem to be unable to read between the lines, or sift trough ironic vs representative posts.
Things also don't exist in a vacuum, you have to understand where you are, what the implications are when you are on a politically incorrect board, if you say something that is politically correct... of course you are going to get flamed for it. And it comes with some other negative additions as well, constant shilling, constant pillpulling, constant bait topics... etc etc...
If those are the only topics you see, then i understand your point of view, but to me, that's not what pol is about.

High odds these are either paid actors, the IQ test was not a scientifically valid one, or both.

Are you upset because the black women wasn't number one?
They liked IQ tests before the results were shown. The only person who said they matter little was the Asian, and the White guy had never seen one other than the ASVAB.

I watched the whole video now. This was definitely not a normal random pick. Clearly, they had picked people of above average intelligence instead of random people off the streets. It also goes to show you that an IQ test is just a number. I actually generally agree with the assessment of intelligence rankings the group did based on how they talked and presented themselves. That blonde chick seemed like the dumbest of the group, so her ranking second really does say something about the credibility of IQ tests.

    They're faking it.
Obviously they will rank the black people first, even tho in reality they are racist inside or just ignorant.

i always find it fascinating how there are magically no below average people
    statistically you should have
    4 people between 85-115
    and 2 between 115-130 and 70-85
yet you never even get one person below 100, often not even below 110
    strange isn't it?
