this is unironically true. if i see a guy wearing flashy clothing covered with designer brand logo, I naturally assume this dude is poor and spends his money on clothing. If i see a man wearing basic fitted clothing, I assume he’s either uppermiddle-upperclass
You have never met an actual rich person.
rich people wear expensive stuff, its just not flashy in the sense that streatwear is, its an "iykyk" thing
It’s mostly the new rich that dress like that. Zuckerface and the like wear $10000 plain polos and tees.
New rich just dress like really expensive bums. $10,000 plain tees as you said. Old rich dress at the same price point but in clothes that done make them look like broke college kids
I should rephrase my post. Rich blacks dress like left. Tech billionaires dress like Zuckerface. Old rich dress however the heck they want.
What’s your Shtoyle?!
both look like shit
I mostly agree, but you shouldn’t cheap out on anything you’re standing or laying on for long periods. Spend decent money on your shoes and bed. Don’t be a brandfag.
This. $70 pants and $35 shirt is fine, but $70 shoes are going to be shit quality, uncomfortable and break down very quick. No way around it, you have to pay for good quality shoes, as /btg/ will attest to. That said, you can get brand trash for $400 that is just as shitty as the $70 shoes but with a Gucci label or whatever
>t. poorfag
I always thought left looked like fratboy Naruto
i see mean wearing "basic fitted" clothing i assume hes boring, why do you assume people wear clothes to show off wealth? you buy 50k+ patek or a ferrari for that, cloth are about self expression and presentation
This is /fashion/, people here thinks fashion is about "looksmaxxing"
Who doesn’t? Just because you look like ass doesn’t mean I have to.
Just because someone buys Ferraris and Patek watches doesn’t mean they don’t want to show off threw clothes. Why do you think people wear shirts with a big Gucci logo in front, a big H belt, and a bag with LV written all over it? Fashion can be used for different purposes, anon.
Through
Only yanks and gypsies wear that shit though
Rich Yanks and Gypsies
Who cares how the rich dress, dress like a prole
The people who dress like the poor guy are almost always walking around in replicas, so realistically these two guys spent the same amount on their fits.
>$70 pointing at penis
Is that what he pays for his erectile dysfunction pills?
That’s what he pays your mom to SUCK THIS DICK!
That guy OP’s pic pays $70 to the mother of the anon you’re responding to in order for her to suck your dick?
The American dream.
I do contract security and work in a lot of wealthy people’s properties. The wealthy in my side of Tennessee tend to dress pretty similarly. You’re going to see khaki Dockers slacks, Under Armor polos, and either moc toe loafers or New Balance sneakers. I don’t know why they all dress like this. I think maybe they’re looking at their favorite Football coaches or golfers for how to dress. Honestly they look like shit but when you’re stepping out of a brand new Mercedes or Tesla about to walk into your 144 million dollar mansion you can look however the heck you want and no one will say shit
Bladee?
>Paying $70 for pants
>paying $35 for a shirt
Kek. I have never spent more than $35 on pants and $15 on a shirt.
Do these people even Sale/couponmax
I have stuff in my wardrobe worth up to $400 and I spent less than $20 for.
I bet this is the same people that buy Toms for $60+tax.
Three of the richest people I know;
>RL bro, nice Royal Oak (37mm one), Santoni’s, Suitsupply, Persols
>McGregor stuff, reasonably priced C&J’s he’s had for 15 years and has resoled at C&J, heirloom gold IWC, Serengeti shades
>whatever his wife buys him, 41mm two tone datejust or a modern heck off gold Santos, Shiny RayBans
It’s almost like they’re people with different tastes and priorities like anyone else
The only people who say this shit are middlebrow nerds who have never met rich people and refuse to interact with poor people. I know a heck ton of rich people who wear designer labels include logomania stuff, practically every rich woman I know as a goyard bag in particular. Not every rich person flaunts it, but plenty do, and even when they’re the kind who "dress down" they’re often wearing "humble" logo-free pieces from Kiton or Loro Piana.
Right looks like he owns a successful business
Left looks like a spoiled kid whose dad owns a successful business
*AHEM*
Actual luxury products don’t have branding on them.
