I don’t exactly regret my tattoos but in hibdsight there was not a realbreason to get them other than I wanted them. My advice to anyone considering tattoos is don’t get inked. There’s a good chance you’ll regret them or at least the novelty will wear off fairly quick. That’s why most people don’t stop at one. I wanted just one and have three already.
Without going into specifics:
-First one is an heritage thing.
-Second a japanese thing I got at the end of a trip to Japan
-Third one a british thing I got after spending some time in the UK snd almost moving there.
I don’t see my tats and regret them. It’s just tgat tgey don’t stick out for me anymore. They’re like part of me like a birthmark, someting tgat’s there but doesn’t really mean anything anymore.
No matter how cool you think your tats are, they’ll become ordinary to you in time.
To be honest, that trip was a blast and a long time coming wish I got to fullfill. The tattoo was an impulse I had on my last day there. I don’t really regret it, but I wouldn’t recommend such a hasty decision on permanent ink. Do as I say not as I do, or whatever the saying goes.

I thought about getting a tattoo in my early 20’s… As I got older, I am viewed as being more ‘different’ because I don’t have tattoos: where before a tattoo looked like individuality, now it looks more like conformity to me.
I am thankful I got through my edgy early 20s without getting one.
I only have one tattoo. Its small, and hidden with a basic t-shirt. It has meaning. I don’t regret it.

What are those 3 tattoos of? The novelty thing does make sense, but the easy solution would have been to not get stupid tattoos in the first place.
