    >How should I dress as a tourist visiting there?

go to sports direct straight after touching down and steal a nike dri fit tracksuit and a pair of 110’s. if u dont wanna steal and break the law then just head down to camden market and buy fakes from there like every eurotrash tourist does

Leeds had the royal armouries when i went there 14 years ago which was fun, went to manchester 20 years ago but that was like any other modern city honestly and was only young so cant remember most of it, never been to exeter, looks posh.

i imagine americans would love exeter, though I’ve never been myself

Manchester is great, but dull if you’re a tourist
Leeds is an unconventional choice, I’ve liked it every time I’ve been. If you like shopping, 80s post punk bands, and nineteenth century industrialism then Manchester and Leeds are great.

London was sick, was the best major European city I visited out of Paris, Rome, Milan, Venice, Barcelona, and Madrid.

Oxford, Cambridge, Bath, Norwich, York are my top 5 cities for the UK. Absolutely right to avoid London, shit hole.

Also the entire South East of the UK is just London 2.0, it hecking sucks.

I live in a small town up north and people getting stabbed has happened a few times so i would say it’s even more common in the big cities. This country is going to the dogs.

It’s nowhere near as bad as that. Plenty of the country is so safe you can leave your door unlocked. I live rurally and the last crime committed where I am was 10 years ago and a anti social incident resulting from a Neighbour dispute over hedging. Its just povo areas.

There is far more working class areas than rich/middle class areas, We are a ”first” world country with food banks and poverty, a massive drug and crime problem. Your leafy little village is not representative of the country as a whole. This country has problems, denying them isn’t going to make them go away.

How are Asians treated in the UK?

Like everyone else, racism has never really been a big thing here.

ignore these idiots OP. London is a great city.

Dress whatever, the stereotype of /fashion/ or britbongs is long dead. You can wear literally anything

Depends on the type of asian, and whether it’s in the country or the city

Both might get some soft racism from the elderly, but it comes from ignorance rather than hate

South asians make up a more noticeable chunk of the population, and there are urban areas where they make up like 90% of the population

East asians aren’t visible enough to have many stereotypes beyond ‘they eat strange food’

Airmax, maybe a polo or sports tee and some straight/relaxed trousers or jeans. Don’t get why you are worried about how you will dress, if you can generally dress then most won’t pick up on the particulars.
