I cant find a job in 2023 as a white man and im near homelessness very soon.

Ive been eyeballing moving to the heartland of the US, like Missouri or Arkansas. are there decent jobs there for young people? Im tired of paying high taxes and rent for little room. Also im dead broke

Anon you seem to be a real person, how do I deal with or filter out shit bosses? Im trying to get employed and honestly it feels like a mistake. I might be doing any self employment at this rate

Im having a problem with employers lying or hiding information
    >Boss whats the wage?
    Its a competitive wage!
    >how much?
you can make up x dollars an hour
    >so its x an hour?
No you can make that much
    >Whats the hours
    Its a very flexible schedule!
    >Okay but what hours? can i just tell you when i want to work and come in?
No. but we are very flexible!
Why cant boomers answer questions what the fuck is wrong with them? Or they lie about what you are doing and then get shocked when people leave. If you cant keep employees you have to change instead of whining

It's a shit test to make you jump through hoops for the honor of being allowed to make a paycheck from them. Never forget that the thing most company owners resent the most is having to allocate big chunks of their profit to payroll. As a result, they will do everything they can to take it out on you in the most subtle of ways possible so they don't cause a mass walkout and/or complaints to the labor board.

Hang in there bro. The tide is turning and this dumb shit that employers are doing now is their last chance to stick it to the common man before they have to bite the bullet and start literally begging people to work. It will be a job seeker's market soon.

Probably not, but you might get lucky.

All I can say is apply for a bull shit job you know like McDonald's or something like that. They like to hire people who already have jobs, proves you aren't nuts.

Then in your area if you move, or what have you, find something you want to do carpentry, air conditioning sales anything you can see yourself leveraging into a career over time. Don't apply corporate or online.

Find a place that does what you are into and find out when the owner of your establishment of choice is present go in there and say, "Hey are you the owner? Listen I'm looking for work and I'll do anything, do you need a maintenance guy a janitor or anything like that?" Make sure you mention a chance for advancement.

If you get an offer great, if not ask them if they know anybody anywhere who is looking to hire in their field or an adjacent one. Have you name, number, and email neatly hand written on a blank Business Card, this will make you seem inept but like you are trying.

This is how I got my career. I got hired in 2019 at 27 with no experience. I'm not guaranteeing it will work but it worked for me.

Best of luck dude, hang in there, keep trying, and drop the Confederate flag shit you are just shooting yourself in the foot.

You refuse to apply to retail. Anyone can apply to a big store and get a job in less than a week.

Ive tried for months. No one is hiring me for retail. my life is fucked and im gonna starve to death.

Decent jobs not so much, unless you in the trades or secured high paying employment. Medical is the biggest industry in my area, and if you can pass a 2 week course and then take a simple personality test pretending to be the equivalent of a 1950s company man and you have a pulse and show up on time then they'll take you.

Just make vague references to being LGBT, they're not allowed to ask about it.
Wear a rainbow flag pin to the interview
    Mention being "neurodivergent"

They just want ESG points, they don't care about good employees. ESG determines investment now

I cant wear some gay flag on my lapel on a job interview. That goes against everything I stand for. Do employers not want competent people?

        >Do employers not want competent people?
        No they do not
Their ESG score is based on how many trans black lesbians they have. The more ESG points you can add, the more they will want you.
The number of ESG points they have then determines their ratings as investments to investors like retirement funds and certain hedge funds.
The more ESG points, the more money.
production and profit no longer matter.

        I guess you're new here

Thats so messed up. And then trying to explain that to my relatives who still think its 1980 and homes are 60k dollars

Honestly, dude, I would say get certified in ESG shit. There are companies that handle the ESG ratings and they offer certificates and shit. That would not only get you a job but it would be pretty cushy and would amount to you putting together an employee chill out room or something

Oh if you do end up in the Midwest and still are struggling with work (god help you if you can't manage a few months rent and have your own vehicle), then there are a lot smaller manufacturers, construction, and warehouse type jobs that'll take you. It won't be a great life but it'll let you keep your head afloat.
