Do not rinse after brushing, spit only. You can also apply some toothpaste to your teeth before going to sleep as if its tooth mousse. If you had braces and have a retainer, you can use it to hold some toothpaste on your teeth while you sleep. Cut foods and beverages which will stain your teeth out of your diet too.
