All the broccoli haired zoomer oldsters in my family want one now because life alert pendants are "cringe"

Even my dad got one and he’s a lifetime devotee of haute horlogerie

The basic problem with these is, they aren’t watches. A watch doesn’t just take up space on your wrist, it tells you the time. These lumps of aluminum can’t even do that.

      >an apple watch can’t tell you what time it is
      Huh?

But it is solar charging, where do you think the energy in the electric grid comes from? Jesus’s blood?

Unless you’re running a reactor with uranium captured from Oumuamua on its last trip through the neighborhood you’re running solar, sorry bub there’s a reason the ancients worshiped the sun

          >battery only lasts a day
          >he doesn’t have access to a electrical outlet on a daily basis
Sure if you living in a log cabin somewhere in the middle of nowhere you probably better off with mechanical watch but for city life having apple watch is literally a non issue.

Everyone at work has one. Everyone. Along with the AirPods lol. The only time they take their Apple Watch off is for a formal/special occasion where they opt for their fossil watch instead. LOL. The guy with the fossil watch probably has the nicest watch there besides myself. I’ll admit to slight hatred for them just because every normie I know rocks it 24/7 as a status thing. Lol

mf ben 10 watches. they look like shit and they’re just mini phones on your wrist. it defeats the purpose of a phone and a watch. like they tried to reinvent the hecking wheel. just wear a watch and have a phone.

It’s something I see in a lot of offices, it’s pretty much a business watch since you don’t have to use your phone to read basic messages or get basic reminders and all that shit. I’ll switch to something traditional if I’m dressing nicer for something (work functions, dates, weekends out etc) but it’s my general choice for the office or for exercise.
