Friend, due to our current environmental crisis, this decision may be unwise. King, I understand that you only want to ensure everyone has the best new garments available, but chief, donating your used clothes to charities or a friend could make someone’s day and ensure our little wildlife buddies don’t have to move due to landfill clearance.

Friend, I think you and I, and the rest of humanity are amazing. Please consider donating you used garments in the future and help your fellow man out.

no matter how nice you are and how high your hopes are for humans, you’re wrong

nice young gentleman would kill me and you if they could get away with it and make $5

Friend, it’s our responsibility to spread kindness and happiness to everyone so things like that don’t happen. Be part of the change you want to see, friend.

being nice to people doesn’t magically make you impervious to being attacked by nice young gentleman

I will keep destroying my clothes before throwing them out, because it’s what they would do too if they had the intellect to think ahead and abstract

Friend, while I do believe these things will always be possible, I think people like you and me can help these fine young gentlemen out. Imagine how happy they would be if they received a wonderful new designer shirt. They may not rob someone for those 5 dollars, friend. We have to do our best to alleviate the suffering of our fellow man and pick them up as much as we can, king.

meanwhile those nice young gentleman get every bill paid by the government while veterans and the citizens that are homeless are ignored

            heck u

destroying clothes before throwing them out guarantees they won’t be resold either

As a veteran myself, friend, I thank you for your concern for vulnerable groups. There’s no need to be harsh, king. I’ve meant no aggression against you. While the welfare system may not be equitable, we can ensure less need for welfare with charity, chief. I’m sure a veteran or homeless person would be very happy to have such a beautiful shirt, champ.

i’d love to give it to one of those groups but unfortunately it would probably end up in the hands of a nice young gentleman, either by intimidation or theft

Friend, your concern for theft is admirable. Have you considered selling designer clothing online and giving the money to benefit charities that support the homeless or veterans? If not, you can do what my aunt does and purchase tents for the homeless. It would mean the world to them for you to show such kindness, king.

can’t, it would show up on my taxes

i used to give a ton of homeless people stuff but one time this guy who i gave to often told me to go away while we were mid conversation because i was making it harder for him to panhandle

King, there are many charitable organizations serving aforementioned groups that can reduce your tax liability through charitable donations. Chief, you would be doing a great deed to your fellow man if you decided to do this.

that’s not what i meant at all

regardless, one bad apple rots the bunch and for that reason i won’t do anything that could benefit a nice young gentleman

Friend, by giving charitably, we stop bad apples from ever showing up. King, your generous contribution to the general public will do wonders to ensuring there are no more ruined bunches.
