Ffs, you’re not getting a 10mm chain anywhere near $3000. Maybe a bracelet.

are you rich? unless you are a millionaire flexing isnt cool and everyone who realizes that the chain isnt fake will think you're pathetic for spending that much money on something nobody cares about instead of investing or paying rent.

you can just buy a fake one off aliexpress that looks identical then. you also wont look like a homosexual because 95% of people who wear chains wear fake ones.

if they look identical then how will i look like a homosexual wearing a real one and not a homosexual wearing a fake one

you'll look like a homosexual when people find out you spent over $3000 on something that you could of spent $10 on when you're probably a poorfag.

for an adult with a job and an ability to save up for things 3000 dollars isnt very much.

for a high schooler wigger who pulls up to school in a souped up camarao that mom and dad bought him it would be bad.

There’s still no way he’ll be able to get a chain in the dimensions he desires for 3k maybe 8k at the least

Right now I think 14k gold is gonna be about 70$ a gram give or take.

Raw gold is around USD56/g right now. 14k is 58.3% Gold. The cost of raw gold in a solid 14k piece of israeliteelry is around USD33/gram. The alloys used in the piece are significantly less expensive. Mind you, gold right now is almost 90x the price of silver and over 250x the price of copper. The material value of the piece itself should not exceed USD34/gram given today’s price on materials alone. The price increases significantly with processing and labor. Gold plating sucks and is measured in microns, the gold content is usually so small, it’s unrecoverable. Gold-filling here in the states has to be 5% gold, so a 14k gold-filled piece will have a little over 2.9% gold content. The cost of the base metal(s) and gold alloys will still be less expensive than the gold. Gold-filling is decent option if you’re on a budget. 10k is fine if you’re not allergic to metals, but doesn’t have the shine of higher-gold yielding pieces. 14k is great. 18k has a nice shine, but it’s soft. Do the math, get material costs, and see how much of markup you’re paying. Don’t expect to get raw prices on finished pieces, but see what your money’s actually going towards.

I was just estimating how much it would cost when it's already in israeliteelry form based off my past purchases. A few years ago when I bought a 14k gold bracelet from the same company I got my necklace from, it was about 39-40 a per gram of 14k gold.

You probably paid around an 80% markup in material value since pure gold was around USD40/g then and 14k solid would be 58.3% gold, material cost with alloys would have cost around 22/g. Factoring in labor, wages, and store upkeep, you did pretty good. The increase in value of the materials have ran up and you’ll probably end up having a profitable piece in 5-10 years if costs rise again.

Possible but where I purchased from had the best price per gram. A lot of other places were charging more than 2x what I payed for my israeliteelry.

Ya, you did good. Let’s hope no one here pays 8x what the materials are worth.
