Best sunglasses brands

What are the best sunglasses (and regular glasses) brands?
I want some buy-it-for-life stuff that will last for years. Budget isn’t an issue, just let me know the best, highest quality brands

My nose is kinda big so double bridge sunglasses fit me the best. For that kind of sunglasses, the best brand I’ve tried is Vuarnet. I always lose them before they show any sign of wear (5+ year of daily use)

Anything besides Ray-Ban any people will just assume you got them for a dollar at a gas station, you’re pretty much flushing money down the toilet on expensive sunglasses. Just get the Ray-Bans and women are all over you.

I have 4 pairs of Ray-Bans, had 5 but gifted a pair away
The thing is I LOVE the wayfarer shape, but Ray-Ban is a shell of its former self now which is really a shame to see
Thinking of getting a pair of American Optical Saratoga frames as an alternative at higher quality

i like carreras tbh. quality’s sturdy, cool frame choices, can be easily found far below MSRP and are a solid value for 50 bucks. matsudas are the best glasses i’ve ever worn but cost a fortune

wayfarers and clubmasters are npc tier frames. wearing sunglasses period isn’t going to "get the women all over you", but if they did it wouldn’t the most basic moron option imaginable doing the trick

Actually, it would be. But you can take that up with their stupid selves.

I recently had to return a pair of Kala Gandhis because they were too narrow and short for my head (they were 46-21-140). I am dead set on getting a pair of circular wire frame glasses, and unfortunately it’s looking like Dolomiti may be my only option that isn’t Warby Parker or $40 Zenni-tier crap. Does anyone have experience with Dolomitis or other circular frame glasses? I’m really pissed that Ray-Ban doesn’t make Ja-Jos any more.

      >They make sunglasses for the military.
That’s not a good thing. The military picks the cheapest, shittiest thing that checks all their boxes because they order 1 million of them so need it as cheap as possible
That said, I’ve heard really good things about Randolph

They’re great. Somebody stole my recent pair and I’ve never been more pissed off about an accessory. But one thing I learned is their and AO’s version of real aviators are different than what RayBan calls the aviator. You need to get the Concorde Randolphs if you want the RayBan tear drop aviator style rather than their standard version. Again, though in my opinion no sunglasses should ever be the price that all sunglasses are these days, they’re fantastic.

Your sunglasses will break. Don’t spend more than you’re willing to every 6 months for them. Buy hardshell cases for them. Keep microfiber cloths and lens wipes everywhere.

i have never broken a pair of sunglasses in my life. I’ve had a pair I’ve owned for over a decade
my main pair i’ve had for maybe 7 years or so
sorry you’re an irresponsible gay that breaks your nice things

Post your 7 year old, no scratch having sunglasses you hecking liar.
Oh wait, did you have a hard shell case? Like I said to get? Yes? Well you’ve proved my point. No? They didn’t come with one? So you’re a poorgay who never leaves the house. Got it.
Sorry you’re a self centered gay with no reading comprehension. Sorry you were alone Saturday.

hoped to get something clarified about sunglasses in this thread but all I got is gays arguing about brand names and subjective shit instead of quality of product and what makes a pair of made in china plastic cost $300+
