As long as the tshirts are legit and not some trash then yeah. As a guide, your T’s should cost $100+ if they are acceptable for coastal city applications.

      oh
I’ve just been wearing these washed jersey shirts from the jcrew outlet, they’re like $30 normally
I tried the Asket shirts and I didn’t like the fit, they were too boxy and the jcrew ones are the only ones I’ve found that are more slimming

mind if I ask what size you got? normally I grab tshirts in large but for asket I went for medium-long and they fit perfect

what exactly are you getting away with? Being a gay stupid? unlikely, I think everyone will pinpoint that as soon as they see you wearing that

lol no 99% of the people who live in cities are normal hecking people with no actual wealth

I live near DC. Also spent plenty of time in NYC, another city infamous for the "So what do you do?" question as a greeting. I’ll correct myself from 99% to about 90% but the vast majority of people in these cities are not rich or wealthy and they come from common average families. No nepotism, no trust funds. Only 30% of US households earn over 100k a year, and that’s not a lot if it’s split between multiple children, and all that means is that both parents have average jobs and education if they are splitting finances.

OP this is the most normie and basic way to dress as a reasonably attractive late 20’s to mid 40s year old man that cares about the way he looks.

that’s the problem, there’s no point to this thread, this dude just posted NPC 101 tier fits and asking is this okay like anyone will even care. This thread has been a waste of time for everyone involved

What do you mean "get away with"? Do you think there’s some sort of fashion police that will arrest and sodomize you for dressing a certain way?

Also, there’s a difference between getting away with and looking good, and it depends on how attractive you are.
If you’re model tier, you’ll look fantastic in those clothes because you’ll look great with almost any style.
If you’re average, you’ll literally disappear in a crowd and people won’t even notice you if you dress like that. Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing either. You won’t look bad, you won’t look good, you won’t have a personal style, etc.

The problem with most questions like this is if you have to ask if you pull something off, you don’t simply because looking unsure or uncomfortable with what you’re wearing ruins fits.
