Well back in the day you could get a pair of paramemes for like $40 shipped in good shape and they’re objectively better made boots than both of those brands. Docs are meme fast fashion chink shit, the made in England ones don’t even have a shank. Solovairs are good for the price but they have iffy QC so you might have to heck around with their CS department to get a pair of keepers. Honestly even at $200 for a new production pair, paramemes are still good value, just not nearly the deal they used to be.
