black and indigo denim go together but only specific shades. there’s no rule to follow. some light washes look good with it some look bad. some mid washes look bad with it some look good. dark wash/raw can even be pulled off pretty easily.
wearing black + blue jeans is going to put a spotlight on the jeans and make them the highlight of your fit. if there’s enough visual contrast it looks good. if there isn’t it doesn’t.
almost any color except red works. red would work in theory but the color combo is heavily arrs.
