I’m asian and look like a complete try hard in it. girls would punch me in the arm saying "where did you get this ugly thing", with a face like mine, I just couldn’t provide the masculine vibe the apparel requires. I looked like a try hard. I then bought one of those bomber jackets alpha ind. has, and women complimented me on it a lot.
Same thing would happen to me and im tall and white. Leather is a women repellent no matter what

If you are talking about brando styled jackets / schot perfetto, /classic biker /double breasted (hehe) leather jackets with a zipper. It is about the cut , fit, lapel size, zipper color(brass/ black/ silver color), as well as the rest of you.
A prolly slightly longer jacket, slimmer legs(pants are toight but his legs look chunky)or wider shoulders (jacket, or F/it shoulders), slightly larger lapels. Lighter coloured pants, different color shirt with a a slightly bigger cleavage , (or a scarf) might have worked. Maybe the camera angle/lens is off too. So his legs look thicc
