I got one about two weeks ago. My skin can get irritated easily and I heard it was easier on the skin because it doesn’t cut super close. So far I haven’t noticed any improvement using it, and it’s kind of annoying to use. I’m gonna stick with it for a bit longer but I think it’s a meme

I’ve been using it for a few years. It’s the only thing I can use that doesn’t hurt my face and also cause cuts and irritation. It doesn’t get that super close smooth skin shave but it does make your face shaved.

I bought it few months ago, its pretty decent and am satisfied with the purchase (i rarely am)

done this couple of times and works just fine, they said you should use some extension, but i never had an issue going raw with it.

i would not recommend using this on balls or around your dick, i prefer razor for this instead.

Is this for your face or body?

works for both, i can shave my face but also my legs or body, it almost looks clean shave, of course you touch it and then you feel it, but for me its not a problem. It’s also much faster and much more comfortable. For me. Unless you really want the clean shave, then get a razor.

i only use this for my dick when i dont feel like using nair

it doesn’t cut ballsack skin? that thing looks like a hammer shark

I never feared using razor and I think you should use a razor. It’s much better for balls and penis. I use mach3 gillete, it works 10/10 and I never cut myself and I sometimes am surprised just how good it works.

I bought one many years ago. Dogshit. Uncomfortable, loud. The worst part is that it suddenly shuts off when the battery is out. No battery indicator, no gradually slowing down to let you know it needs charging. You could have work in 5 minutes and this nigga will just shut off. I lost the charging cable but I use a different electric razor now anyway.

you are hecking stupid, i charge it once a month and use it for almost every day and not a problem, week before the battery is about to go dark it blinks red at the bottom, if in rush to work, just put in in charger for few minutes and it will again work for few minutes. its that easy, hecking moron.

There is no indicator on mine and it doesn’t last that long. I think I bought the very first edition of this. I’m sure they have made improvements on subsequent releases but i’m not interested, there are better electric shavers out there.

i use this and still get ingrown hairs. is it because i shave every weekend and not more regularly?

there’s a lot of reasons you could be getting ingrown hairs so I’ll just list a few
          >you’re shaving too infrequently, honestly it’s probably this, unless you have a babyface you should do it more often.
          >you may be shaving too much between cleaning your razor, shave once with each side then rinse, if it stops you can get away with 2 shaves per side
          >your blade is overused. 4 shaves per razor. you can strop it to get more out of it, but I’ve never done this.
          >your shaving angle is too aggressive,
          >soak your beard before shaving, use warm but not hot water. Honestly just shave after you shower. don’t be afraid to use oil and aftershave if it still hasn’t gone away by this point.

I use for my body, but use a cartridge razor for my face and neck as its a closer shave
It I use the cartridge on body my skin gets irritated

It’s marginally better than your average electric razor. The real issue is that men now days don’t know how to shave. They think they have irritable skin, and that if they could just find the right razor they’ll be able to get a close shave. Wrong. Shaving is a skill you learn–an easy one, but a skill none the less.

    1) Get a safety razor 2) prepare your skin by washing your face before (in the shower for efficiency’s sake) 3) lather shaving cream properly with a brush 4) and finally shave your face with short but confident strokes–especially areas where the skin is stretched thin, such as the jaw line.

This is the only way to a clean shave regardless of what people may claim on the internet.

Additionally, buy a 100 pack of blades and swap out the razor regularly so its always sharp (they’re dirt cheap in bulk and you will save money in the long run using a safety razor).

Yes, it takes 10 minutes instead of 2. But if you can’t find an extra 8 minutes in the day, you’ve got bigger problems than irritated skin.

If you ever manage to knock up a woman, take the time to teach your son this basic life skill.

heck that, I tried the safety razor meme. First of all it took forever, much longer than 10minuted and it’s really easy to cut yourself. Yeah I could get better and yes it’s better than regular elective shavers but it is nowhere close to OPs in terms of comfort and practicality

      >take the time to teach your son this basic life skill
Reminds me that my dad never taught me. He just gave me a disposable razer and cream. Later he criticized my technique.

    Doesn’t cut skin
    Works fast
    Minimal stray wisps
    Versatile

It’s just a really good product and it’s easily the best electric shaver I’ve ever used

    t. shaving since 1990

I’ve had one for like 3 years now. It works decently well because to be honest I don’t really need a true-razor finish on a normal day and even when you put like 15 minutes of effort into warm toweling and prepping your skin some places you just can’t avoid razor burn. This is much better for that

I got this because it was the best deal at walmart, but stupid walmart doesn’t sell the blades, have to order them online

man you really have to be a stupid. the battery lasts ~30min.
      >The worst part is that it suddenly shuts off when the battery is out
what do you want a hecking pony?

show me where I said anything positive about it. That guy is a literal stupid. He can’t even handle a hecking battery without a stupid light

          >There are clearly better alternatives.
          for the same price? what?

My body hair is too thick for the Philips to work. Do I need to take the Wahlpill or is there something cheaper but still workable in between?

Try one of those Microtouch Titanium body groomers. They’re not amazing, but the smallest size attachment gives you a close enough shave without irritating anything.

It’s as good as electrics 5x the price
Blade replacements are expensive, but the foil on an electric usually wears out after a year or so, and new ones are either out of production or cost $100+
