What do you guys think about the whole "bloke core" trend of 2022? I dressed like this without knowing it was a trend, but it has some potential. Tucked oversized football jerseys, straight leggged levi’s, maybe some old sambas or even a nice pair of boots. Pretty cool style imo.
This is just another variation of the zoomer trend of trying to larp as something they aren’t
That’s what this entire board is about though.
Obviously, but to a certain extent, that’s what actually being into fashion entails. When you have zero interest in fashion, that’s when you "authentically dress as yourself". I’m quite sceptic to people who say they are into fashion to find "their true selves" in it. Aesthetic sensibilities are something that’s to be somewhat cultivated.
You mean like trumpers larping as soldiers in front of my local library?
rent free
Dude give it rest
bingo. You know the Pulp song, "common people" that’s what this guy embodies, it’s not a good thing. "Everybody hates a tourist, especially one that thinks its all such a laugh"
love bloke core tbh. I feel like it’s just a new variation that derived from skatecore/eboycore but more masculine and UK
>I feel like it’s just a new variation that derived from skatecore/eboycore
one of the most stupid posts i have ever seen here
has potential but harder to pull off than it looks.
if anything it’s a variation on sleazecore, not eboy
Just The Brothers Grimsby ripoff core
young people trying to look goofy and random has never worked out with clothes. never seen a dude get laid from it even once.
however, i have seen dudes do well by having a bunch of random wacky tattoos. something about it makes them seem like bad boys i think.
why are you 20s years old boomer are so obsessed with getting laid? because zoomer don’t care about that. they just want to get dressed and look cool.
sex is an idol amongst most people
Just another cosplay/larp trend
How many tiktoks declaring that something is a trend have to exist for you stupids to actually take the bait of it genuinely existing? Has anybody else on earth actually partaken in "blokecore" or was it literally just that dude?
Mass literacy was a mistake
You can find hundreds of photos, articles and videos of this. Just a quick search with the hashtag on a zoomie site like tiktok shows over 70million people have seen videos on this. You could see this trend in zoomers in 2022 in every major anglo-saxon city on earth. But this trend doesn’t actually exist according to you because you personally didn’t hear of it?
>You could see this trend in zoomers in 2022 in every major anglo-saxon city on earth.
That’s normal going to the pub dressing for lower class anglos. It’s not a trend, it’s not a core, it’s just a bunch of people dressing like they always have and a bunch of zoomers cosplaying.
70m have SEEN it, not adopted the style.
Haha that’s soooooo funnay, he looks like one of those men who lives on a council estate
>What do you guys think about the whole "bloke core" trend of 2022?
>Implying this hasn’t been the "core" of Britbongers since the 80s
I hope the next trend among us bongs is Ghostkwon-core, personally
Is that a still from that show Stranger Things
Black folk
>tik tok trends
do people really ?
The west is truly in it’s dementia phase.
Pigeoncore
Proppa
this is what i dress like actually. i think it looks somewhat cool
lets see some more pics, one pic doesn’t make it a core.
It just consists in dressing like britbongs who drink lagers at the pub on tuesday evenings and watch the match with their boys.
This, I wish zoomers would just own up and start admitting they wish they were Liam Gallagher
its ok, kinda like a uniform though. It looks great together but as a "core" or style i dont think it works. this loose relaxed looking stuff works very well together and i love jerseys and think this is a nice new (new to americans) way to wear it but its a bit one dimensional. Again, not bad at all but you cant really do much with this.
Something about it looks like a girl trying to dress up as a dude. Cute
must be the twig arms and long hair
Love me bloke, love me core, simple as.
lads lads lads
"Exactly when did all skinheads become poofs? Used to be you were a skinhead, all you had to do was go around beating up Pakistani twelve-year-olds. Now it seems a prerequisite to be a hecking bumboy!"
kinda looks like julian casablancas
