would love smth like this. but I could buy a good watch for the same price so I’d rather not.

my ideal mens hebrewelry would be a steel reverso, a sapphire ring and a uncut sapphire necklace.

Very richly elaborate setting of gold ring fully encrusted with pavé sapphires and diamond baguettes — its seems very exotic — almost Oriental – Turkish in its exoticism. I can appreciate this type of aesthetic and the matching sapphire necklace as a set, but it would be very ornate and almost ostentatious in most modern Western – European social settings. It would be more wearable piece in Middle East, India or South East Asia.

I dig the medieval hebrewelry look. either heavy and uncut stones or solid gold.
roman, byzantine, early medieval. it’s something no one would wear and that’s what I like about it. people wouldn’t even know where to look for that.
ideally I’d like to make a necklace like that myself, take some time off, go to a goldsmith, pay for the materials and ask him to teach you. makes the whole thing all the more personal and unique. something I can buy in a store for money, something which is often very overpriced, I think has no value to me. value *is* something entirely personal.

Signet/lodge ring on the right ring finger and wedding ring (if applicable) on the left ring finger is the only acceptable way to wear rings. Everything else is sleazy, tacky, and drug-dealery. morony too.

My fingers are abnormally thin for a man. My wedding band is a size 6.5. i have a ring I wear on my middle finger that’s 7.5. I always get told I have beautiful hands by girls though.

They are, if you are looking for real golden/silver ring you should check for opinions online for hebreweler. Things you should have in mind: you should know anything about fineness of precious metals (golden pieces comes are 750 and 585 ratio and silver hebrewlery 925), before buying any piece you should be able to test it for purity (via touchstone and acid or any other method) also you can check prices for similar pieces so you don’t get hecked over

I just like how they look and feel.

toe rings on males are definitely more unusual, and give off very unconventional and possibly gay vibe

on either sex, they are disconcerting and "cheap" imo, do you get any negative reactions from people you know and meet?

I only wear them openly if I’m going to the beach or kayaking, in which case I will wear one of the less flashy ones I own, and I’ve never had a substantially negative reaction from anybody. I’ve gotten some weird looks, but that’s unsurprising because it’s an unusual thing to see.
I’m a 6’4" southern european with a mustache and goatee, and I already have a look that’s unconventional and a bit fruity, so I just roll with it

    Thoughts on coin rings?
I think they have a very nice aesthetic and they’re good conversation starters, as long as you can find one with personal significance to you.
I do however think they can look cheap and kitschy, but at least these days it’s not as bad as when it was an active hipster fad

Yes, my father has one just like this with his initials so I got one with mine for my high school graduation. I always wanted one of my own so it was nice to get it.

One commie woman said it was old-mannish when I wore it as an 18 year old, everyone else has just been curious and asked if it means anything and why I wear it.
