If you desperately want one then get one, but don’t ask for advice if you’ve already made up your mind and will just disregard everything people say.

For your information an edge doesn’t postulate it being pointy or sharp.
You have hard metal that will constantly rub against your pants while you are walking, let alone take it in and out, even if you are wearing a thicker denim fabric you will get very obvious signs of wear before long.

I’m not disregarding what everyone says, I think you’re just a stupid for thinking smooth metal edges on a piece of metal would "absolutely wreck your pants over time"

          • Anonymous says:

it’s like saying those brick phones we used to all have as teenagers destroyed pants because they were metal lmfao

          • Anonymous says:

so id just sit on the metal base of the wallet and/or just switch it to my front pocket
            lol?

          • Anonymous says:

who puts a wallet in their back pockets anyway? You can get robbed easily and it’s super uncomfortable

          • Anonymous says:

Those were plastic shells anon. And yes, they absolutely did over time.
Even leather wallets will wreck your pants by the way, every time you put something into your pants pockets you damage them a bit, that’s fairly inevitable, the shape and material it’s made of only exacerbates that fact.

this it’s like people have never had blown out elbows or something

            friction = bad
friction between cotton and metal = worse than friction between cotton and soft material

okay so EVERYTHING wears out your pants over time, very cool stuff
the metal wallet has a clip so it’s only if you have skin tight pants or are constantly rubbing it against an edge does it really matter
            stupids

          • Anonymous says:

I was assuming you’d take the clip off, because honestly it looks like complete garbage and defeats the entire purpose of having a slim metal wallet.
If you want one get one, but pretending it won’t cause serious damage to your pants a hell of a lot faster than other alternatives is just denying physics.

          • Anonymous says:

if it’s slim enough ill just put it in one of my front pockets
and i dont wear jeans like a gay
            wow, problem solved

i wear durable pants because i actually work for a living
and yes, it can be /fashion/ too

            >wallet that forces you to wear thin pants and you can never wear jeans
            >also looks like a cheap piece of shit and gets scratched up to hell
            lmao
just get a thin leather wallet, not one of these ugly influencer-pushed pieces of shit. you can even get a super thin leather card holder that will be almost invisible in your pocket

          • Anonymous says:

it’s very painfully clear anon was saying every edge is chamfered, not that the wallet is actually a sphere.
why do you insist on being such a pedantic shithead?

          • Anonymous says:

It’s painfully clear that the chamfers are still sharp compared to leather. Why do you people need to latch onto things and defend them with your life?

    • Anonymous says:

Because it’s constantly rubbing against the fabric with hard metal edges?
      Use your brain a bit.

If you desperately want one then get one, but don’t ask for advice if you’ve already made up your mind and will just disregard everything people say.

      this guy’s delusional and stupid.
      t. been using this wallet for 4 or 5 years and have never had an issue. there are no sharp edges. almost like whoever made the wallet thought
      >gee, it would be real hecking stupid to have sharp edges on something that constantly slides against fabric

      • Anonymous says:

should also note I got rid of the pocket/money clip on day 1, and I keep it in my front pocket.
If you’re so worried about your clothes that you’re paralyzed at the thought of a wallet removing a tenth of a micron of material and maybe after 10 years will rub a hole in a pocket, maybe just keep the pants hermetically sealed in a vault and never wear them.

I also carry a knife, keys, and even a gun on me on most days. The thought of sharp metal keys in a pocket must be what this guys nightmares are made of.

      • Anonymous says:

Sorry but that looks like complete dogshite
If you want a metal wallet at least get something that’s pulvercoated

        • Anonymous says:

my guy, it’s a hecking wallet. It spends 99% of its life in my pocket or on my desk. if you want to spend 50 bucks on cerakoting/whatever meme coating, go for it.

          • Anonymous says:

lmao if you dont give a heck how your wallet looks why even go for a metal one like that that will scratch your cards and destroy your pants and whatever else you have in your pockets just get some shitty ass cheapo canvas fold instead

          • Anonymous says:

            >scratch your cards and destroy your pants and whatever else you have in your pockets
these aren’t actual problems, they’re things you made up in your head.
I don’t mind the natural wear on the anodization.

Any of you guys use a metal wallet?
I have an old leather wallet from thirteen50 and it’s aggravating having this lumpy piece of leather in my back pocket. Are these worth upgrading to?

what’s the advantage of these supposed to be? cause a thin leather wallet can look way nicer and is probably more comfortable to carry due to it being softer

        • Anonymous says:

I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a leather wallet as small as something like a ridge wallet that can hold as many cards.

  1. Anonymous says:

i have one but I think it damages/scratches my cards a little every time I slide them in and out so idk. otherwise they’re alright but I still prefer leather ones.

  2. Anonymous says:

I do and it’s great. It’s got a leather cover too and it looks nice and sleek. Ignore the stupid who says it will wreck your pants lmao he doesn’t have a clue

If someone seriously wanted to commit RFID theft they’d use a scanner many times more powerful than the generic ones, the flimsy tinfoil layer in your wallet wouldn’t do shit.
There’s also just not even a single report of it ever happening. Not one. It’s simply way hecking easier to pickpocket your wallet or draw a knife/gun on you.

You are a hecking fool for carrying anything of actual value that you can’t easily get back with a simple call to your bank on your person by the way.

          • Anonymous says:

False, the RFID in my wallet is military grade, prevents any kind of interference getting in and out

Better to be safe than sorry, I carry my crypto everywhere I go so I need to be safe

            >carries around a crypto wallet
            >buys into the rfid block scam
            no surprise there lmao

Better to be safe than sorry, I carry my crypto everywhere I go so I need to be safe

            3/10 bait

        • Anonymous says:

          lol, lmao even

RFID Protection has its uses, that’s not one of them and borders on tinfoil paranoia.
Say you are sliding your wallet over a scanner for your train ticket or whatever, having a pocket without RFID Protection for the card you use for the train and all your other cards inside of the wallet with RFID Protection prevents the wrong one from being picked up and automatically billed instead of just scanning your ticket.
It’s good for stuff like that. It A) won’t do shit against anyone trying to steal your cards by using a powerful scanner and B) nobody hecking does that anyways since there’s infinite much easier ways to rob people.

Yes but I use a business card holder as mine. Doesn’t fit as many cards naturally but its slimmer and aesthetically nicer.
Picrel is a plain one but you can get any sort of design or customization, mine is art deco. These don’t have the stupid clip either

thirteen50 is a dogwhistle to black being 13% of the population yet committing 50% of violent crimes in the USA.

grab a goyard cardholder off ali express

holds my id, credit card, debit card and a folded 20

don’t get any kind of metal wallet. it’s like sitting on a pack of playing cards

Why would anyone put anything in their back pockets? Of course it’s gonna be uncomfortable, you’re just asking for scoliosis.

I’ve got a carbon fiber wallet with aluminum accents.
It was a kickstarter called the HFS Slim.(pretty sure it’s not in production anywhere)
I really like it. But if it falls at the wrong angle, it can pop open and throw shit everywhere.
Got it back in 2015 and it still looks great.

ive tried several over the years and the only decent one was Jens Anso. i have no idea if you can even find them anymore
