Is there any way to fix these weird puffy bits at the top sides of this trucker hat?
Is my head too big, or too small? Do people wear them like this or is it fundamentally incompatible with my head

ugly hat
get a better one
any suggestions?
i had an insane quality trucker hat from a unknown japanese brand called mr olive but it was over 150bux
the highest quality normal priced trucker hats i have worn are filson ones especially anything made of their tin cloth dry tin or rugged twill. the newer imported ones honestly aren’t worse quality than the old made in usa ones. but you can readily find those for sane prices on ebay new and used. the truckers in particular don’t resell very high even new with tags.
Trucker hats? Well, they originally came from gas stations so any one that isn’t from a gas station is larping as a real trucker hat. As a Buc-ees nationalist I would recommend their hats.
incredibly based but you have to be from a state that has a buc-ee’s
my texan friends would never let me hear the end of it i wore one
This. Wear Goorin.
>Goonin
Stop advertising your tranny hats.
>Stop advertising your tranny hats.
Explain.
don’t wear goorins unless you can’t find anythin better
>better
Such as?
awful / shilly recommendation.
real max size with snap backs = 2 sizes down from max size.
these don’t fit on XL heads.
Why is your head so massive?
im white
Your abject disdain for punctuation says otherwise.
if you need to use grammar to signal your intelligence you already lost the race
You need all the help you can get on that front, kid.
its what happens when you bend the brim on a cap that had a flat brim originally.
structured hats made of higher quality thicker materials won’t get the side bends as much.
unstructured hats don’t get it either.
its when they’re structured but the material is low quality, it will simply bend a lot as the brim bends.
it can also be caused when you wear a cap too small for your head (which may be almost all caps if your head is like 7 1/2 or bigger)
or if the crown is too deep for your head.
i think in your case its because you bent the brim. but it also looks like it may be small on you.
I did try to bend the brim, to fix the problem. It was already puffy before I did it. It certainly didn’t make it any better though
Thanks for the suggestions
its hard to tell in the pics, is it one of those truckers made of that foamy feeling material? i don’t know what its called but i see it a lot in caps.
those side bend the worst.
Yes, it’s a foam substance.
there’s no way to avoid it with those ones.
if you love the hat you can make it work with a hat liner something like picrel btw.
or improvising something similar.
basically it just needs more structure.
those always look like shit
last time i ordered trucker hat blanks a lot of them just came that way typical of lower quality deep crown hats. especially adjustable or one size fits all ones.
the patch might be causing or exacerbating it, hat doesn’t have enough structure to support it.
don’t just look at their current offerings btw there’s a LOT of back catalogue stuff you’ll find on ebay etc. most of my favorite ones they don’t make anymore but aren’t too hard to track down.
if you don’t like the look of the ones i rec’d (they have blaze orange truckers) just follow the general theme of the rec: look for hats made of above average quality and heavier materials. as long as you don’t mind the hat not breathing as much.
wool baseball hats are a good middle ground but most of them are in retro styles you may not like. hard to find wool truckers.
>Do people wear them like this
oh i missed that question, i’ll answer it before i go. some people hate it some people prefer it and do it to their hats when they get them intentionally. there’s really no right or wrong answer, just what looks good on your head.
yeah you hecking wear it in like every other piece of clothing
