it's worth noting that Juneteenth is very much a creation of the same "Open Society" nonprofit network that funded the BLM protests and in the intervening 2 years have created an entire network of local organizations. They all have names like Step Up For Justice or (City Name) For US and often fund "progressive" candidates for local office like school board or city council
through my own participation in local politics I've had the chance to interact with a few of the candidates for these positions and organizers who moved here for the protests/nonprofits (i think they identified "hot spots" where racial demographics make places more susceptible to change). it's funny. it's like "how long did you say you've been here again?" (right before the riots in 2020) "how did you say you came to be here again" (launch into personal narrative) "no i mean why did you move here specifically" (talk about the need to unite together and work for change) "no i mean, like why did you choose this city in particular to move to" (talk about their personal narrative for why political change is necessary for racial equity and justice)
A particularly insidious thing these people do is called "Deep canvassing." This is essentially social media influencer marketing applied to political organizing. It more or less means you share your own narrative and solicit the narrative of the person you are talking to, and then connect it with the political candidate or ideology you are pushing. It was popular with the Bernie 2020 people and now has become the norm for the Soros BLM orgs and various other local/regional/issue-based orgs. To me it reeks of manipulation and narcissism, you have to be a bit of a sociopath to use techniques designed to play on the psychology of lonely people like that.

Escaped Milwaukee during covid after having lived my whole life there and being stuck in the public school system going to 60%+ black schools at the behest of my aging hippie liberal parents. Worked providing services to n-words deep in the ghetto while in college. Drove through the famed sherman park neighborhood daily where whites were pulled from their cars and beaten on my way to and from work.
