Raise your pitch higher than you normally would. Talk like this for a bit. You'll sound like a cartoon character. Were not done yet. Raise the back of your tongue up while keeping the tip down. Slowly lower your pitch until it sounds okay to you. Those 2 things combined should give you a good start. Adjust each until it sounds the way you want

Nah I kinda like my voice, it passes but it's noticeably tranny if you listen to it, I've been told by several people that my natural slightly more masculine voice is more comforting than my femvoice.

idk how trannies with male-sounding voices have the self-confidence to exist in spaces where they could potentially get hit on. i have a very passing voice and i panic if a guy hits on me in public in case he clocks me, idk how it must feel knowing that your voice would out you instantly. this happened to one of my friends who wasn't voice trained and the guy and his friend were like "that's a man!" and walked away laughing. in both cases they're lucky the guy just walked away.

Isn't voice training the easiest thing to practice? You can dedicate any amount of time to talking to yourself in your room. Reading every post, book, dialogue in vidya, anything and everything out loud. Compare it to makeup and clothing style which have a direct cost in money to practice learning them. How can someone afford to learn anything if they cannot learn first what is free? Plus it's fun to do.

If you have paper thin cardboard walls walk around town on trash day grab a random rug or a few and hang it on your wall. Ta-da nobody can hear you anymore. my daily voice training regime includes deep throating
i'm ftm and sound like a young child who hasn't hit puberty despite being an adult. my height makes it impossible to pass as a child (5'8) in most cases but if i get on t, then i can voice train. deepening my voice makes me sound like a butch lesbian so ironically it makes me MORE clocky. gonna need to be on t a long time before i can properly voice train
