God doesn't care if you find him worthy or not. He created everything, can do anything and it enteral. I doubt he cares about whether or not you approve of his methods.

Hubris is worse than gaysex in the eyes of the creator. I pray that god burns 1million self righteous redditers, who have pondered about morality for 5 secs and think they are befit to bestow judgement upon the lord? Burn them and spare the gays.
        Amen.

If you can't even argue your way out of the problem of evil, then you really have no business even trying to do apologetics. This is babies first religious philosophy, kind of pathetic that you can't figure this out.

If God can do whatever He wants, and is in no way bound by our moral intuitions, how can you be sure that He will fulfill the promises He made in the Bible? It seems to me that your hubris has lead you to assume that God is somehow limited by this human notion of "lying=bad", when in fact, anything could happen. God may very well choose to save the unbelievers and damn the believers, so there's little point in being in Him then.

Honestly I tend to prefer reincarnation anyway. I dislike the idea of a definitive end state, at least an unearned end state like nirvana. Like you just live your life and make a few relatively easy choices or acts and bam end state reach, you go to heaven because you chose the right god or you go to a good afterlife because you weren’t an butthole. In general I prefer the idea of working to reach the end state like Buddhism with actually needing to work to break the cycle or that creepypasta about every human being the same soul reincarnated throughout time until he reaches a sort of understanding and ascends to godhood.

Negative. Tacitus, the bog bodies and grey goose laws disprove that.

      >Some German tribes seem to have imposed strict penalties on those who falsely charged others with infamous conduct. Apparently such conduct often included adult male passivity. Two historians of the Late Empire who wrote after the triumph of Christianity expressed disgust that Germanic tribes practiced pederasty. Ammianus Marcellinus (c. 380 A.D.) mentioned the Taifales, among whom a boy continued in a passive relationship until he slew a bear or boar (Gothic Wars, 2.14). Procopius (c. 550) cited the Heruls, amongst whom youths remained douloi (slaves), presumably sexually available for an adult warrior, and fought without shields until they proved their courage (History, 31, 9. 5). Thus, even if the passage from Tacitus referred to homosexuals, other evidence shows that the Germans had no single rule of conduct or viewpoint about homosexuality. When the various tribes, having established kingdoms on Roman soil, put their legal customs into writing with the help of Christian clergy, only the Visigoths in Spain penalized homosexual acts. Whatever their attitude toward adult passives or shamans, neither German nor, for that matter, Roman religion or laws condemned pederasty as such. Even Bleibtrau-Ehrenberg, who carefully marshalled documentary evidence for prejudice against "homosexuals" from the earliest ages, was unable to find condemnations of pederasty before Christianity influenced the Germans, but of course before that time the tribes produced no written documents to record their opinions or practices.

homie pls. You also believe when he writes demonic shit about Justinian or is it just what’s convenient to justify your addiction to anal sex?
        >One man said that the Emperor suddenly rose from his throne and walked about, and indeed he was never wont to remain sitting for long, and immediately Justinian's head vanished, while the rest of his body seemed to ebb and flow; whereat the beholder stood aghast and fearful, wondering if his eyes were deceiving him. But presently he perceived the vanished head filling out and joining the body again as strangely as it had left it.

I don't care about my pagan ancestors.

Chances are I will not see them in the afterlife, and I can and have gone my entire life without needing or having a meaningful connection to them or their beliefs. This whole ancestor worship thing is really weird and absurd and I don't understand what one is supposed to get out of it, I will not have any deeper understanding of myself or my life by clinging to old rituals that became obsolete as time passed and trying to make people I've never heard of nor cared about proud of me.

Generations are supposed to be better than the one that came before them, be better than the generation that came before you by ridding yourself of this need for ancestral validation.

Literally the only reason people become """pagan""" nowadays is if they're a homo. Look at how high the homosexuality rate is among them, virtually every "wiccan/witch" girl is bi/lesbo/"pan" or whatever and the dudes are also mostly gay.

there is a difference, buggery happened in Rome, tenderness and love toward boys was normal, but being buggered yourself was an incredible dishonour.
