The Scarlet Woman and the Scarlet Beast

17 Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and talked with me, saying [a]to me, "Come, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters, 2 with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth were made drunk with the wine of her fornication."

3 So he carried me away in the Spirit into the wilderness. And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast which was full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. 4 The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of [b]her fornication. 5 And on her forehead a name was written:

    MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT,
    THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS
    AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS
    OF THE EARTH.

6 I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. And when I saw her, I marveled with great amazement.

Jesus Christ and Yahweh are not one
It is so stupidly obvious when you read the massive differences in character between the good of Christ and the war-diety that set himself up as god

you have the entirety of the Old Testament pointing toward the promised Anointed One who would be that very same God of the Old Testament

that Anointed One, Messiah or Christ is the Lord Jesus

reject that, and all your spirituality is false

You can make no logical argument at all for Jesus and the Old Testament diety being one and the same, because they are not the same
                We've been tricked, mate
I ask again - if the devil set himself up as god, what would that look like? "Worship me or die"?
Why does Yahweh send evil spirits? Why did he cause pharaoh's heart to be hardened over and over just so that he could display his awesome power by killing every firstborn in Egypt?

                >You can make no logical argument at all for Jesus and the Old Testament diety being one and the same, because they are not the same

from the very start, after mankind rebelled and ate the fruit, God the Creator promised that He would send a saviour

this theme was expanded and elaborated on throughout the entirety of the Old Testament, God revealing to His people all the elements necessary to recognise the Messiah when He arrived

Christ met all the requirements and did everything the God of the Old Testament said the Messiah would do

there is no other logical argument for His being the promised Anointed One

                And yet
You can't actually point to anything you talk about
I once talked to this kid who claimed Jesus was in Genesis
                I asked him, "Where?"
And he couldn't point to it
He just said, "It's an interpretation of the text"
                >from the very start, after mankind rebelled and ate the fruit, God the Creator promised that He would send a saviour
I recall him cursing mankind to die

      it's not a morality tale

it's a picture of whom God is in relation to man, determining before the babes had done anything right or wrong, whom He would show mercy to and whom He would reject

Jacob was not a nice person, he was a swindler and a gripper, grasping after that which didn't belong to him

yet God delighted in displaying His magnanimity through that wretched little dude, evidencing His mercy on even the worst of men

God revels in confounding the so-called wisdom of man, choosing not to glorify the mighty and strong like Esau, but the wicked and the despised like Jacob

kinda like everyone on LULZ really
