Young bucks won’t have a match at forbidden door cuz they’re still salty about New Japan not giving them a big send off.

Njpw dosent care about bucks. They cared about omega and he worked them. That's why relationship between aew and njpw went to ice. If bottom hadn't fallen off from njpw during coof years. There wouldn't be partnership

Before he said that. He was talking how njpw was his home for long run. That talk is what gave him his run in njpw.
There was geniuen hurt feelings over kenny leaving. I'm not saying kenny bad. Njpw good. They let themselves to be worked by him. Did they really think they could hold him once money offers came in.
I also heard some talk how taking elite (+cody) and leaving all at once was somewhat sore spot. Fact is. It was long road for that njpw and aew partnership. So don't act like there isn't any issues behind scene.

Factually though Kenny is bad and NJPW is good.

Yea I place most of the blame with Kenny and the Bucks, they were gunna be the centerpieces for New Japans western expansion and left them high and dry (not that I blame them for taking a better deal with Tony). Not sure why they expected a hero’s farewell or why they remain so worked to this day.
Ultimately we have guys like Jericho, Moxley, Kingston, and Archer to thank for continuing to work both companies despite pressure from the EVPs not to, and Tony for going over Kenny and the Bucks on featuring New Japan talent for awhile now.

Kenny clearly got over it, he reached out and helped organise some stuff. Including KENTA turning up and is really high on the idea of companies working together more in general.

Kenny got over it. But did njpw. We shall see as partnership goes on. If kenny will apear in shows in Japan or if they let him in ring whit okada.

            Anonymous

I think Kenny just means too much potential money to ignore, tbh. But also if they were still that mad they probably wouldn't have receptive to him reaching out.

Oh, I do get it, I just think the scale was ridiculous, but hopefully cooler heads have prevailed. Them working together is just good business, especially if it means that there's less top guys getting money offers that NJPW just can't match.

I get why they left. Reason was that Njpw western expansion was soo slow. Both njpw and roh fucked up in late 2010s.
Both didn't strike when iron was hot. Tony walked in and pulled the rug.
But I bet njpw guys didn't take it too well.

Not him, but I definitely heard the first one from Meltzer and Alvarez on podcasts before for the past few years. Can't be arsed going to look for exact timestamps, though, sorry.

I'm not sure he's quite accurate, by the time they were doing New Japan guys IIRC Kenny was over it and was actively helping set things up. The bucks were mondo butthurt tho.
