Cope. East Rome was a fully Greek nation by the time of Leo I.

They always acted on classical themes. What are you talking about?

If you mean 'ethnicity' by genetics. Then no. If you mean 'ethnicity' by identity and culture. Definitely no.

            >If you mean 'ethnicity' by genetics.
moron, they were letting anyone who could spell their first name serve in government in those times.
            >They always acted on classical themes
The classical style died out around Diocletian.

            >they were letting anyone who could spell their first name serve in government in those times.
You can't prove that, neither does it have anything to do with ethnicity.
            >The classical style died out around Diocletian.
I said 'Classical Themes'. No, they did not practice the same art styles as the 2nd century but it is still derived from it and shares many of the same features. Such as in Diocletian's palace.

Carolingian renaissance art was anatomically correct but not classical.

Renaissance art wasn’t classical. The romans couldn’t make realistic 2d art.

Well that looks like fricking shit, then again Byzantine """art""" was pretty shitty in the first place. I wonder what made them virtually incapable of drawing straight lines/geometrical shapes in particular, it all looks so sketchy and shaky.

The Byzantines had a period of decline following the Arabic conquests + Slavic invasions that got reversed by the Macedonians. Consider suicide.
