Thats the beginning of the Fed chart, it doesnt go back any further.
There's 22% less postings than before the coof and WAY more CS grads. If you dont already have a tech job you are sol.
Possibly engineering. Think of jobs that would do well in an environment with heavy government spending on large infrastructure projects. There will be a mild recession relatively soon and the government is going to have to try and invest their way out of it.
I would recommend electrical engineering and trades (construction, electrical, plumbing), and resources (gas, oil, mining). Otherwise if you're willing to wait 5+ years for a more comfy office based job, tech will make a return. It comes and goes and while the next tech boom likely won't be anywhere near as lucrative as the COVID boom since that had a bunch of unusual factors going into it, things will reach equilibrium. They always do.
Can someone recommend me a work from home job that's really easy and has a lot of downtime? I don't care how low the pay is, I just need a "job" to keep up appearances
i literally quit the exact moment of the last nadir (april-may 2020)
i quit because I wasn't going to live through covid and niggouts working a shit job
it was the best move of my life
the lesson: do the opposite of what people say
imo the best move right now is to get an office job in a real estate agency. The real estate market will never go down, however for those jobs you need connections and they almost always only hire women. Honestly it's pretty much over for your average autist.
no where to go but up haha
right?
Nowhere to go but India and Poland, sweetie 🙂
>shitty tech grifts go out of business
oh no!
I got a job at the peek, thank the lord
I'm sayin' bruh
sneeze the wrong way and they'll fire you
mid 2021 here lol, I'm a glowie though, so they can't get rid of me
I lost my job at that shitty little dip in 2020 and NEVER recovered
rip the meme

>Just got an engineering degree bro
Even if you were in the right place at the right time to make some cash out of the tech grift, you wouldn't have gotten anywhere without a CS degree.
