Me because that's me.
I either read about Early Rome, the Middle Republic or the Late Empire
Literally me.
The late republic was the greatest time in human history before the enlightenment.
The mid republic was better. The punic wars were the height of Rome's greatness, and a steady decline followed.
some christgay
It's just more fascinating imo. The golden age is cool but a bit too familiar. The late empire is still mostly the domain of academic history and Hollywood hasn't spoiled it yet.
In terms of most interesting to least interesting
>Republic
>Byzantine era
>Late classical empire
>Pax Romana/Early empire
>Kingdom
Christian (derogatory)
Why do people find the classical Roman Empire/republic interesting? Is it all just power fantasies? Seems rather shallow
a christcuck
residual mitochondrial gothic dna something akin to cell from dbz crawling across old lombardia migration lines trying to consume unexpecting babies and elderly to get strong enough to cross the reubicon
This is exactly what I sound like to my friends who have no idea what the frick I talk about
A christlarper, probably.
Other way around
More interesting to see people going in with very little to no personal gain to save the empire rather than at the peak where they were incredibly rich and could just throw money whichever way was needed
