Totally not pagan at all
What does catholicism have to do with Christianity ?
Orthodox Christianity as well
What does the orthodox have to do with Christianity ?
Well they are the first church and maintain the traditions of the early Christians so I’d say a lot
Well you reject Nicaea so you can’t really be called Christian
Were the apostles Christian ? They lived before the council of Nicea
The orthodox is not a united congregation but a collection of different sects tied to their nationalism. The Ukrainian orthodox and Russian orthodox are litteral AT WAR right now, KILLING each other

Do you find it Christian-like ?
Whta did I say that was false ?
They taught the same truth as Nicaea and would have submitted if it happened in their time, you don’t
Is the Father greater than the Son ?
>But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
Is that a yes or a no ?
Because that verse says yes
In his incarnation yes that can be said
So as of now, the Father is not greater than Jesus ?
Is this what you are saying ?
Yes, that's what Jesus said
He said the generation of 1914 would not pass unttil the second coming
Do you expect Jesus to come back within your lifetime?
Because Christ is both fully human and fully divine the Father is indeed greater than the human. Christ taught us all by example how we should think and act
>want heaven bro? Gotta eat me first
>Christ is both fully human and fully divine
That's not what the Bible says
Philippians 2:6 says that Jesus emptied himself of all divinity.
When you empty a swimming pool, is there still water in it ?
No
Likewise, Jesus was 100% human when he was on earth. He had no "dual nature" whatever that means.
>Philippians 2:6 says that Jesus emptied himself of all divinity.
I think you'll find that Philippians 2:6 states that Jesus is, "by very nature", God. Philippians 2:7 then states that He took on the role of a servant by being made in "human-likeness".
Philippians says Jesus forwent of his divine nature, and became a human.
So Jesus was not "fully human and fully divine" contrary to what you said
Funny how you keep saying that, but won't actually post the verse. First it was "Philippians 2:6" and now it's just "Philippians".
If you'll read Philippians 2, then you'll find that Jesus was indeed God, but He took on the role of a servant and a sacrifice.
>5 Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus,[a] 6 who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped,[b] 7 but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant,[c] being born in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. 9 Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, 10 so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Philippians 2:5-6
But yeah, keep on denying that Jesus was divine and you'll regret it more than anything else when the time for judgement comes.
??????
The verse doesn't say Jesus is God. It says the Father has elevated him above everything. It obviously doesn't include the Father.
Jesus is the most exalted being in the universe, second only to God.
As Paul said in 1 Corinthians 11:3
“But I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of Christ is God.”
Moreover, Philippians 2:6 says that Jesus wasn't divine when he was on earth.
>The verse doesn't say Jesus is God
Yes it does.
Philippians 2:6:
"in the form of God", meaning that He was God by nature.
"did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped", meaning that although He was equal to God (meaning He was God, of course, because you can't be equal to God without being God) He did not take advantage of this to become powerful but instead...
Philippians 2:6:
"but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant", meaning, He voluntarily lowered Himself to be a slave of the Father.
So, we can clearly see that Jesus was God by nature, that He didn't take advantage of this, and that He lowered Himself to become a servant of the Father.
This is the most important thing you can realise, because if you can't, then there's no way that you can be saved.
Yes, Jesus is a god by nature. He was divine before and after his incarnation, but during his time on earth he was a man.
The angels are also gods by nature, so are Christian saints in Heaven and even Satan and his demons.
But a mouse is certainly not equally man simply because a man and a mouse both have the same “essence” or “nature” of flesh !
Moreover, Philippians is not saying that Jesus has been equal to God.
Here, Paul is talking about Jesus' humility and submission to God. He did not envy God's position and never craved equality with God, unlike Satan whose goal is to be worshipped like God.
>The angels are also gods by nature, so are Christian saints in Heaven and even Satan and his demons.
You’ll be screaming in agony for eternity if you keep this blasphemy up.
You can be God in the same capacity that an AI - character within a game world can be the game developer that designed it.
They don't know its God sending the measage "I'm God".
Christianity, by defintion, is the opposite of paganism.
Just because you utter things doesn't make them real.
Why can consecrated wine get you drunk if transsubstantiation is real?

The Cube is a building you idiot. You can pray inside of it

>Yeah you just have to pray at her and she’ll take your message to God and he’ll probably listen to her over you anyway
Catholics aren't Christian. Idolatry and the eucharist are clear doctrinal errors, but there are others that are even more damning.
In The Faith of Millions—a book certified by the Roman Catholic Church to be “free of doctrinal and moral error”—Catholic priest John O’Brien explains what happens during the Mass:
>When the priest pronounces the tremendous words of consecration, he reaches up into the heavens, brings Christ down from His throne, and places Him upon our altar to be offered up again as the Victim for the sins of man. It is a power greater than that of monarchs and emperors: it is greater than that of saints and angels, greater than that of Seraphim and Cherubim. Indeed it is greater even than the power of the Virgin Mary. While the Blessed Virgin was the human agency by which Christ became incarnate a single time, the priest brings Christ down from heaven, and renders Him present on our altar as the eternal Victim for the sins of man—not once but a thousand times! The priest speaks and lo! Christ, the eternal and omnipotent God, bows His head in humble obedience to the priest’s command.
If Jesus is the Passover Lamb, why don’t you eat him?
> And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it.
>Exodus 12:8
Is Jesus a literal lamb? Or is it a metaphor?
Well I guess Christ just metaphorically died so we could be passed over by metaphorical death
> Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
>Well I guess Christ just metaphorically died so we could be passed over by metaphorical death
That's not what I asked.
>yeah we also follow God. God’s will just happens to always line up with whatever the elders want us to do isn’t that neat?
>noooo you cant reenact biblical stories!
>noooo you cant think of an image while you pray!! Judaism told me so! Thats why pr*t churches look like ass!
wait till you learn about their tradition to take their children to be raped by chatolic priests, that's top lmao
>want to go to heaven?
>take a bath smelly
