the solution would be to fill the engine with water and the oil will rise to the top and out again because oil floats on water. wala!

it would work fgine. oil is oil the only sdmall difference is the vicksosity which is minimal. Cooking oil can wishatand temps of making food on a frying pan and you cant cook food on your engine so the temperatuire is just fine/ JUst need a bit liubracant and all oil lubricates just the same

Just drain it out, throw in cheap regular dyno oil and drive the car about 20-30 minutes then change it again with your regular oil. Even that may be a bit extra, could probably get away with just draining and changing it but oil is cheap engines are not so its cheap insurance and peace of mind at the least.

yea this, just drain it, run actual motor oil through it for a bit, and drain that. then refill with fresh oil. very little to no damage would be caused to the motor.

It's only bad if she drove or started it. If she drained it and filled it with motor oil and a new filter it'd be fine.

It would just burn off in a few minutes. Probably a nice grandmas kitchen smell coming from your exhaust during that few mins.

That's not an "used vegetable oil" problem, that's a "never changed the oil and just kept adding more instead" problem.
