Men are dropping out of the workforce as the bottom 90% of men come to the realization that they will never breed, they will never have offspring, they will never have land, and they will never have sex with a partner who loves them and didn't first ask for monetary payment.
The share of all construction jobs in the US held by women has risen by 2.5% in 7 years and has now reached its all time historic high of 14.2%. Women are just going to have to pick up the slack as men continue to drop out of the workforce and refuse to work for nothing in return.
In that same 7 year period 10% of men (mostly young white men) have dropped out of the workforce entirely.
Way to go women on picking up that slack! Work harder and longer and make sure to pick up the slack in other traditionally male dominated jobs as well! Thank you women for picking up the slack as men across the west collectively decide that the juice just isn't worth the squeeze.
As some of you might have heard recently Florida cracked down on illegal migrant work and it has affected the construction industry with housing build projects sitting for weeks or months at a time as the construction companies can't find any men who will work for slave wages. Women are gonna pick up the slack though so it's not as big of a deal as many are saying. Women make sure you work hard and long hours for low pay! Women need to pick up the slack at a faster pace! lmao OMG such minimal increases! That's gotta be like a almost a thousand ladies around the entire U.S. Now please tell me specifically which jobs they are doing. I really want to know. Because I worked on a few different construction sites within the past couple of years. Major fucking projects. A few billion dollar developments. I saw maybe , MAYBE two dozen women out of over a thousand laborers. The only one who wasn't doing survey bullshit was a dyke who drove a bulldozer back and forth for the excavator operators. The other women were working in the air-conditioned office trailers and would only come out to walk around and setup survey equipment. Seriously.
I knew some women when I worked in a metal fabrication shop and they were pretty good at it.
But personally I come from a family of home builders and a woman carpenter isn’t something that really exists
