I've acquired what looks to be a beta version of Windows Vista, the cd says it's from 2005 and it has hardly any scratches.
I looked online to see if I could find any other physical copies, but I didn't see any.
Is this something rare a collector would be interested in archiving?
I'm not going to try to run it cause I don't want to possibly damage it.
Throw it in the thrash where it belongs
Upload it to the internet archive. Make an ISO file of it.
That's cool. Was this a troll or was OP not able to connect and successfully post?
Did the image not upload? If so I'll try to post again.

Beta versions are dime a dozen and all are already achieved
I just remembered I have a video of one of the 7 beta too.
Vista beta aren't anything special.

Searching a little bit, this was a build showed at PDC 2008 in october, I posted the video on november 7 and the wikipedia page says this build was leaked on december 27, wich is wrong.

Now THIS is a good thread.
Finally something other than the same old inane bullshit.
Get it running! Connect it to the internet! Obviously don't sign into any personal accounts just to be safe but otherwise I personally want to see how far one can go with "retro" windows, XP, Vista.
