    >Why would I buy this over an Audi?
I'd take it over the S4 since it's basically a cope car that states you couldn't afford the RS. G70 at least doesn't pretend to be anything more than a nicer looking Kia Stinger.

Oops wrong pic. I just thought the uploader seething in the comments about his driving was hilarious.

G70 doesn't have any above the 3.3t tho

        Yes and?

The 3.3t is the highest end G70 while Audi has a shit ton of options ranging from the A4 to the RS4, so the conclusion is the high end G70 gets shat on by the middle spec Audi car

I get what you're saying, but the G70 being "high spec" doesn't change the fact that it is in the same performance range as the S4. Not to mention the G70 costs considerably less than the S4. Korean cars simply haven't reached "high spec" German Super Saloon territory and probably never will. What I'm saying is if I was going to buy Audi, I'd want the best spec because why would you pay premium prices when you aren't getting the best? But if I was forced to choose between the S4 and G70, I'd choose the G70 since again, it's just a fancy looking Stinger which I like the look of and it's cheaper.

Do you always have to get the highest spec version? What if I don't want that extra power? Can't even use it on the road

            >What if I don't want that extra power? Can't even use it on the road
If that's your problem then get an A4 or 4 Cylinder G70.

rs3 isn't real (torsen) quattro, rs4 avant isn't in the states, rs5 liftbacks are form over function, rs6 avant is in another league, and a good b7 rs4 is a unicorn
i'm never buying asiatic but rs models in the states are a mess

    Cheaper parts and maintenance.
They all depreciate like a rock. Unless you choose an RS model.

G70 has a longer warranty than any Audi.

The only time a written warranty from hyundai had any value was during the toilet paper shortage. If the 10 year warranty protected a car that lasted at least 10 years, it would seem weird that 10 year old korean cars are so rare to see on the road.

            >lies

My mom's friend had a 2011 Rio that went through 3 engines in 10 years, but by God, Hyundai put a free new engine in her car every time. They know their cars are built like shit and their only hope is to honor the frick out of that warranty. And they do.

            Lol no
            No they don't.
Magnuson-Moss Act doesn't protect consumers that don't lawyer up when korean dealerships illegally decline warranty coverage. And if you do lawyer up, no loaner car is guaranteed unless you are part of a very specific class action lawsuit. That means when you go in for your annual new engine, you are at their mercy. Maybe you'll get a loaner, or maybe you'll get a discount at a local and particularly sleazy car rental somewhere. They save money by not giving you the loaner. Just like they save money denying your claim for going somewhere else for an oil change or getting aftermarket parts that are not from their parts department. If you don't smell like lawyer, they will frick you. Even with this being their reputation, people still buy those cars.
I find the "embarrassment" of driving an older car is far less humiliating than not having a car for weeks at a time while the car that made me lawyer up is still in the shop again this year. But hey, maybe you're into that sort of thing.

Because it's a proper RWD compact executive sedan instead of another front-heavy saloon sharing VAG's universal "cut-to-length" chassis.

Alternatively, it's a handsome and relatively upscale looking sedan that's still uncommon, and it comes without any of the stigma of Audi drivers.

I can’t think of a better reason to dismiss the G70 and most of audis lineup tbh. V6s are a cope engine for the poor.

Comparing "genesis" to anything other than hyundai or kia is stupid. It is bottom end trash for people that can't afford anything else. They are commuter appliances, at best.

    > ooh fancy seats
That's not the car. You can put new seats in anything.

because german engineering is needlessly complex and exceedingly expensive to fix. unless you are a german living in germany, i don't know why anyone would own a german car.
