They make you look like a non-american. Remember, Americans dress like they’re homeless so they best way to not look like you’re homeless is a modern designed suit.

They only look good if worn for work (if you work for a boomer industry that still requires them) or a formal event like a wedding or graduation. Wearing one for fun only works if you’re black as seeing a black man in a suit is a novelty

idk if they’re popular per se, but they are like a kind of cultural staple. kinda like asking why jeans are so popular. which i suppose is a valid question, but still

Because it’s an only universal attire which you can wear everywhere, everytime: indoors, outdoors, from restaurants to opera houses with visiting your parents in law in between.
They don’t work in zoomer parties and LGTB conventions though; make your choices.

Because you look like you’re a grown adult. You also will look good with seersucker, no tie, jeans if you’re going for a casual look. Watch the Alpha M Kevin O’Leary video. He’s dressing a 50 year old man in a leather jacket and Henley.

Popular? Absolutely not. Suits have never been LESS worn than they are today. I think it all began with Casual Fridays.

Suits make you look like a spineless cuck. I doubt I’ll ever wear a tie or blazer for the rest of my life, unless it’s my wedding.

Don’t confuse a tie with a blazer. A tie is a mark of an obedient livestock (no billionaires wear it..), a blazer is a comfortable piece of clothing.

      • Anonymous says:

Billionaires don’t wear ties because they want normies to think they’re "just like them" and perpetuate the myth that anyone can climb to their position.

This. Just look at how many millenials and zoomers worship billionaires and think they’re just like them because they wear tshirts and hoodies just like me. Image has always mattered because boomers would see the old mega millionaires of their day in a 3 piece suit and tie and think the same.

working people literally never wore suits though. like have you tried doing anything in a suit? you can’t move and it’s too hot. even back then they had t shirts and jeans but they had different names. the dress of the working class was always t shirt and jeans moron

        >working people literally never wore suits though. like have you tried doing anything in a suit? you can’t move and it’s too hot
Suits were worn baggy so you could move in them, and they took there jackets off if it became too warm while working, usually leaving the waistcoat on
        >even back then they had t shirts
T shirts were considered underwear when suits where the norm
        >jeans
Jeans are american and where mainly worn in america until the sixties, i’m on about the european working class, corduroy, moleskin, wool and flannel trousers were far more common here in europe
        >the dress of the working class was always t shirt and jeans moron
        No, you are talking shit.

People didn’t only wear t shirts and jeans in the US either, maybe in the warmer areas like the west but not in places like new york, look at nearly any great depression photo. central heating wasn’t really a thing and neither was car ownership en masse so it’s a reason why they always wore layers and caps.

thats complete bullshit t shirts only became common after ww2 cause it all went into milsurp stores and you could get them cheap before that just about everyone had to wear a collard shirt if you didnt it was a sign you were poor

        • Anonymous says:

          >if you didnt it was a sign you were poor
This isn’t true either, ordinary/poor/working class people wore collared shirts too, and collarless ”grandad” shirts. Even suits ordinary people wore were thicker and higher quality compared to today, the difference is that’s the only thing they had.

huge suits with insanely wide trousers and oversized jackets are nice. those slim fit 2010 ones post here give me the absolut creeps

Suits like those? No one ACTUALLY wears those unless it’s for a photo shoot or they’re weirdo enthusiasts who make their entire lives about suits.

what is this type of pant called?
The short ankle naked loafer look is kinda gayy, but that waist cummerbund looking bit with the bagginess reminds me of like a turkish carpet merchant or tatar cossack and I like.

Yeah, it’s meant to evoke a lot of the fuller cuts that are associated with calvary and jodphur pants, though I can’t ID this pair in particular.

these are called side adjusters/ no belt loop trousers, they part of classic suit, gurkha are part of Nepal solders garment, you can wear gurkhas without suit, but suit trousers without a jacket are risky, educate yourself on the origins and stop following this blogger naming, they suck dicks
