Why isn't he considered Bedroom Pop?

Why isn't he considered Bedroom Pop? He makes all his music himself and in his home, which is basically what Bedroom Pop is, right? Or is it only that if it's lo-fi? Someone explain this.

I asked a legitimate question, and you're seething. Sounds like Clanton takes up rent space in your feeble head. I'm betting you're a John Maus fan lol.

christ if you're so retarded I'll tell you. "bedroom" music is usually associated with low fidelity, acoustic, trash quality. clanton's gay music sucks dick but it's not lofi

That's what I asked in the OP, you dumb fuck. Also, Salad Days isn't lo-fi but is considered Bedroom Pop, so it has nothing to do with the aesthetic of being lo-fi. You are really stupid lol.

You don't know what constitutes Bedroom Pop, but think you did. You are a retard and should think before you post. Dumbass bitch lmao.

and here you are flailing around your own thread trying to find out what it means. you won't get an answer better than "lofi". it's because some fag came up with the term and it means next to nothing

If some albums that aren't lo-fi are considered Bedroom Pop, it stands to reason that's not the only factor, dipshit.

Name 5 who are rated higher than George Clanton. Go ahead, I'll wait.

that would be the case if genres were 100% definable, man. if you want it to be bedroom pop so bad, call it that. it can be bedroom pop if you want it to

If you know vaguely who people like Mac DeMarco, Clairo, Tame Impala, Boy Pablo, Wild Nothing, etc. are you'd have heard of George Clanton. You are a poser.

Yeah I know all of those except WN and I know a lot more
But still never heard of this guy
                And it makes sense
He's just another zoomer doing a pastiche of the 90s, this time it's one of grebo, Jesus Jones and all that stuff

If I want to listen to that, I'd listen to actual 90s music

Fuck zoomies and fuck their vacuous culture that has no content except mimicry of past styles

I know them all and still never heard of this guy
And it makes sense because he sucks and lacks any originality whatsoever.
Which at least Toro y Moi can claim some. The others are also very derivative.

                >better than him in the same field

In the same field of imitating the 90s as if you're roleplaying living in those times?
Damn, it's so competitive doing that, I have to think who doesn't do retro larping now

                Anonymous

It's not that competitive since there aren't many who are anywhere near his level. But let's be honest, you can't think of at least 5 because you're full of shit and a poser.
